I really feel sorry for the guys that dumped in panic... we appear to be consolidating right at yesterday's highs... just as we have the previous 4 days...

So we catch our collective breath at 55K-65K... and the rocket takes us to Huh

and then the market "crashes" back down to consolidate in the 90K-95K range... rinse and repeat.

The upside to this (in addition the obvious for those of us that grab more coins each cycle around this time) is that each time the cycle repeats itself, there will be more and more 'holders'. And even if it takes them much longer to comprehend exactly what is fundamentally different about BlackCoin... it won't take new guys more than a couple of days of selling in a panic and waking up to lost opportunities to realize that something is different.

Who knows, maybe then they'll actually take the time to do a little due diligence rather than just throw money at something and hope they hit a winning lottery ticket. Wink

The pool is just giving you bc instead of btc. There are a few switching pools and they track difficulty of coins to mine the best value then convert it. The benefit here is you dont waste time holding other coins

I was asked why blackcoin is so unique, besides pos. I was going to mention the fast transaction times, but some think this is just a simple mod like litecoin ? Seems impressive to me but is there any other utility this coin brings that I could say in defence of the realm of bc

This coin will jump right back up. The multipool brings in 20K a day. Early investors cashing out. I was an early investor I am a whale I'm not cashing out. I am holding this coin because it will hit 3 dollars. Anyone who does not realize that is because they dont understand the POS > POW and Blackcoin is proving it!!! I'm not afraid. Let it drop I would buy more if I could. I would buy it and any price. This coin will smash Litecoin. Why? Because Litecoin has the volume to feed the multipool. The coin is boring and slow and can be 51% attacked. Blackcoin is awesome I hope it crushes Bitcoin. Have no fear. I am a whale and I choose to hold.

If anyone is wondering what happened... A long term holder takes profits (big red candle) and the market tries desperately to interpret what happened and find fair value. Meanwhile traders put small sell orders in to push the price below fair value then trigger mini pumps selling on the way up. Over and over again until the market is exhausted which is where we are at now.

We're in for another round of accumulation before the next leg up. Unless someone dumps again and the process repeats. Stay calm is my only advice, fundamentals are still strong.

Hey that makes me more suspicious that there is shorting on this coin... No changes on the owners of the coin but we have traded huge volumes

Its because BLACKCOIN can overtake Litecoin. Its simple. Litecoin is old and outdated. It suffered too much from China bullcrap gets insider traded and the Proof of Work Scrypt coins are oversaturated. Way too many miners seeing lower returns. Bitcoin is the same. Too much "politics" its so news driven its annoying. People are always like OMG what news?? Bla bla bla. And people are so scared like OMG when will it duimp?? Dump? Why? Into Bitcoin that goes down every frikkin day? If Bitcoin goes up so do we. So only reason to dump is if you want out of crypto. Some dumers got hurt bad when the price rebounded 30% up and down. And this is just the beginning. This coin is going up up up. The miners will see the Blackcoin pool and the people tired of crapcoins will come here where the real money is. Why sell at 40 cents when you can sell at 40 dollars? I cant sell yet there is not enough volume. When there is 200 BTC buyorders then we can talk. But lets see this develop!

Now if you combine this with such factors as tiny market and an exchange not able to function with such huge volumes... you are looking at some very dangerous situations.

I hope that I am wrong about this but since crypto is not regulated like a real stock market... I think anything is possible and the risk is too high.

3. This kind of manipulation could also come from the opposite angle. Assuming again someone with big funds wants to kill this coin so that HIS coin can be the one that shines above all. Imagine the same scenario of SHORTING this tiny baby and selling the coin until panic and all psychological damage destroys the confidence while his coin rises above all.

Again I hope I am wrong but crypto is not regulated and anything can happen. Today volume and price manipulation reminded me of wall street shorting actions.

MY SUGGESTION: If you are a strong believer of this coin please remove your coins from the market and put them safely away so no one can touch them until this has matured!

First, you can't short cryptos directly and second, no single "whale" has enough BC to dump to take it down to 5 sat.

How do you know that you cant short cryptos? Who guarantees that fair game is being played? YOU?

you can short BTC at plus500 and bitfinex

you can also go short on any trade by going long on the opposite side of the currency pair

havent had time to catch up on the thread.. just woke up.. but if anyone hasnt said it.. im pretty sure the press release is the reason for this volatility. all the people who mined blackcoin when it was minable, who dont pay attention to this thread etc, seeeing blackcoin in the news and realizing they can cash out thousands of dollars are dumping.
