The future of the car / plane will store all the location and real time data on the chain of blocks that can not be changed. Those interested in privacy will use BTCP and all fitness data, Land records, voting, selection, examination results, fun activities, approvals, everything from birth data to death on the block chain. And you think BTCP will not be 1k.

I don't even know how all these things you mentioned are related to each other. You actually want to say that BTCP is going to take over the world?

I just discover this coin, I find a lot in common with the bitcoinz, can you explain the differences if there are differences ?

You should ask in both threads to get a more neutral picture as communities tend to talk more positive about the coin they stand for.

Yes you are right and I will, but I would have liked to know the Bitcoinprivate pro's opinion, I will post my question on their topic, and if they answer me I will expose you their arguments  Smiley

How do you even know if the answer you got was professional or not given you don't have any idea?

always getting at least 1 error when trying to install the btc private wallet (any version +electrum)
from github.

ANYONE has a working btc private wallet , where I can claim btc private with bitcoin bech32 electrum addresses?

See https://github.com/Ayms/bitcoin-transactions#quick-start-guide and https://github.com/Ayms/bitcoin-transactions#convert-addresses

And https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.40035709

We have added recently an address conversion feature, including bech32 and the tool is now automated (ie you just need to reference your addresses, it finds the rest automatically and groups everything in one transaction)

We will continue to wait patiently for more details from BTCP about the state of the PoW algorithm and the continued progress of rebase.

What confuses me is the following statement in opening post:

Quote
Update: The fork began on March 2, 2017 and finished on March 3, 2017. You can read more on how to claim your BTCP here.

Does this mean that the snapshot was on 2nd/3rd March 2017? If so, why was this thread was created more than 7 months later on 1st January 2018?

I think the fork was in 2018, not 2017. Possibly the poster has his dates mixed up?

I am still waiting for the support from big exchanges to see this on the track but it seems they are still in doubtful position for this coin. I think they should promote this coin with more talented team to get big support and make it grow more healthy.

I just saw someone shared a point of sale device image on twitter saying how would be to use BTCP for payments. Is that official product or someone is trying to build by himself ? It seems that people are also undecided about BTCP because sometimes we see lot of activity while other days no one comes here at all. Still not hurrying to concluded because of things appears timely.

John McAfee is for BTCP as representative most probably because of his few posts on twitter where he came out on driving seat for BTCP. In the long run if they will have what to show in privacy field which is promised they can survive as alternative else everyone is aware of the fate. For the moment Bitcoin labeling isn't working for newly forked coins.

BTCP will also have to show first how strong their privacy technology is compared to coins like Monero.

Interesting read but these protocols are agile. The race will be on and in the end we as users can't complain about having several options.
