Just curious being that it appears you guys have bought all brand new equipment, why you went with standard HPS bulbs and fixtures rather than going with new ePapilon or Gavita double sided bulbs and fixtures? It would increase your productivity by quite a lot! Seems LED has also reached a level to beat out standard HPS and Halide setups.
To each his own. There is no BEST method other than what you know works for your strains.
By the way, you are seeing 1/4 of it. Duplicating opposite side x3 more and outdoor. Will house CANNdy and others.
Possibly heading to Northern Arizona to mark out another building location for indoor grow.
Didn't mean to offend brother, in fact I am quite jealous of your OP.....it looks REALLY good man! I have 17 years indoor growing experience under my belt and was just curious in your choice of lighting, thought maybe you were unaware of the newer double connector bulbs on the market. Being that you are not air cooling your lights, these other bulbs would give you quite a bump in "usable" light output for the same power draw, I think somewhere in the range of 20% more usable light.....as reported by growers of cannabis.
Unlike most areas in the grow room, this is not really a "what your strains like" kinda thing.........more light typically equals more bud.......unless you are severally lacking in one of the other areas of photosynthesis. It looks like you have a really good setup, top of the line room and equipment so I suspect all other areas of photosynthesis are also being well maintained, in which case having more usable light output in your budding rooms would see potentially more than a 20% gain from these lights! If you are also maintaining optimum CO2 levels, even more can be expected from more light output.
Anyways, thought maybe if you hadn't already purchased all your lights and had not heard of these that you might want to check them out.
Again, sorry if I offended.....was only curious and trying to be helpful.
