This rapid difficulty increase may well come from my pool, as dedicated operator I have gathered a group of miners to help shake this long block.

Best regards,

Any news on cryptsy and getting the wallet sorted or is that due to be done after the ~ 19th / 20th?

No news yet from Cryptsy.  They won't say where we are in the queue or when they expect to get us updated.

Based on the earlier experiences with Cryptsy, we expect them to take 2-3 weeks.  Three weeks will be July 16th.

These are the tickets we know to be open:

Ticket ID - 193353  25th June  (V9.2.0 upgrade)
Ticket ID - 195252    7th July  (Any progress on 192253?)

Ticket ID - 194673 7th July  (Deposit not credited - Taiga)
Ticket ID - 195687 9th July  (Deposit not credited - SlimePuppy)

Catcoin 0.9.2.0 OSX Wallet: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pbefwdsjk6jlawt/Catcoin-Qt.zip?dl=0

New Berkeley DB version used. Please backup your wallet.dat before upgrading and clear the folder in Application Support. This does mean you will have to redownload the blockchain so for your convenience here is a bootstrap.dat for blocks 0-45074: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vaozl526ocjwovq/Catcoin%20bootstrap.zip?dl=0
Thanks again, MystPhysX!

I'll get this on our server as well.

Andy

Hi David!

If you'd like to add the seed nodes, feel free - that should lock you solidly into the network.

addnode=167.160.36.82
addnode=173.254.235.58

Thanks for the pool!
Andy

Hi Andy,

They have been added to the conf and is loaded runtime to make it persistent. Thanks for the nodes!

Hey All,

If anyone of you was on Hashnova mining for CAT you may have noticed that Hashnova was using the wrong height. I have been following the previous thread closely and updated the client accordingly and was thinking why, it seemed that I was connected to older clients for (any valid reason) and those didn't have the new blocks. (Bug?).

Solution was that I opened up the firewall and made Hashnova to a catnode and clients with the right height connected to me! Wee!
addnode=node.hashnova.com:9933

I am sorry if any of you that was mining on Hashnova was encountering any problems or lack in finding blocks because of this. I wish I could have seen this a lot quicker than I did. Any ideas how to?

The Catcoin pool can still be found here:
https://pool.hashnova.com/pools/Catcoin/CAT/

Running on client:
https://github.com/CatcoinOfficial/CatcoinRelease

Any questions? Feel free to contact me.

Cheers,
David

The new code triggers at block 46331.  ...  1297 blocks to go...  9 days to go...  Approximately 20th July  /edit...   gah... approx 5/6 Aug   edit/

All of the info in the OP is current.  All pools and block explorers have upgraded to V9.2.0.

Cryptsy is in maintenance - they're upgrading to V9.2.0 as we speak.  Please do not send coins to or from Cryptsy until they finish their upgrade and we risk our coins to test.

It's time for CAT to shine!

2 scrypt launches in as many hours

It seems like it's just a new thread for Catcoin.

Yes, this is a new thread for CatCoin.  The creator of the 0.9.1.1 thread will be occupied with other things in their life for a while, so we started this new one so we can continue being able to update the OP etc.

Let's keep this CAT purring and happy!
