I would certainly hope not. Most people who break into houses and rob them are not what you'd call the brightest catcoins in the bag. Normally people like that are after hard goods they can sell. They wouldn't even know what to do with a Catcoin. They would more probably sell the computer than the data.
coinedup is shutting down mining. they'll be back. they are only exchanging now.
The easiest way to bring miners back atm is buying CATs. Doubling the price is not very expensive on such small market. Sell your unused coins != CAT and buy it up!

The community seems to be against the hard forking idea, and really it would be way too much of a risk anyway. We're throwing around a lot of ideas at the moment. We're all just passionate about Catcoin.

There's no need for personal trading now. It's on coinex, coinedup and cryptsy. Also people will be reluctant to trade with a newbie to the forums unless you're willing to send first to a user of higher trust, or better yet, use an escrow service.
