Do you think I will be able to buy donuts at Tim Hortons with CDA soon?

Unlikely for a little while yet, but our marketing guy has big aspirations and some solid connections with some top Canadian chains.

We'll definatley be approaching them at some point. If we can get them on board within the next 12-16 months i think we will have a major accomplishment.

Early bird signup for Canadians gives 100 coins bonus at:

http://www.canadacoin.org/canada-day-airdrop-signup/

Social media sharing faucet nearing completion. Stay tuned.

wont pay out my canadacoins. I tried to do a withdraw 2 days ago, it said it went through but I never got in my wallet. Then they put up a notice.

We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.

Payouts disabled, you will not receive any coins to your offline wallet for the time being

On the pools site it says the transaction is confirmed but I still dont have my coins. Sad

On MPOS Pool this notice is an automated notice. The meaning of this is that the crons have been shutdown temporary so the automated processes are not launched. That's why - in my opinion - your payment have not been sent. I am sure that this canadacoin pool is investigating and is going to make it right.

You still can mine CanadaCoin on our pool here https://pool.cryptexchange.org/canadacoin/

Hey PonyBoy, please PM me with your user id and email and I'll have a look and see.  Sorry for the problems.  I can confirm that blocks are found and coins are being accounted for each user.  Glop is correct in stating that this is an automated message that gets generated when the crons stop and has been resolved.  We also updated our default 120 confirmations to 50 as stated in the OP for maturity.

PonyBoy, please see the above post rgarding the issue.  Appears to be something with the coin daemon and processing large transactions.  I have sent you you 33k+ coins that you had tried to perform a manual payout of.  PM sent with transation details.  It's in chunks of 5k.

ok, we're looking into this...it's not clear at this point what code is causing large mining pool payouts to glitch, but smaller ones to work..sorry for inconveniences

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CANADACOIN POOL USERS:

We've come across a problem with manual withdrawals.  If your account balance is too high, the system will not process your manual payout and you won't get your coins.  This appears to be a problem with the coin daemon not the pool software.

I'm looking into the problem but, meanwhile, please set an automatic payout threshold for your account so that your balance does not get too high.  I have configured the system to give you a warning when your balance reaches 10,000 CDA but I recommend a figure lower than this to ensure your payouts go out correctly.

If anyone has a problem with payouts, whether it's automatic or manual, please let me know ASAP so that I can look into it and get you your coins.

Thanks!

Regards,

Chris
CanadaCoin Pool Op

We are experiencing the exact same thing.  Old and new coin daemon does it.  Sending out all missed payments to users now.  Please be sure to set your auto payouts to less then 10,000.  We have set the maximum to 5,000 before your warning occurs for now until the issue gets resolved.

Below is the daemon error that is occurring when trying to send large amounts which hopefully helps the coin devs in finding a resolution...

We now have an early stage signup form on our website for Canadians to claim their AirDrop Coins, plus a 100 coin bonus for early signup.

We'll manually validate and payout for now. Additional validation features such as SMS validation and facebook app, which will clearly reduce drop off substantially are still being explored.

There is an automated service that we could implement for around $1 per transaction- Jumio Netverify.

All forms are encrypted.

http://www.canadacoin.org/canada-day-airdrop-signup/

Will keep you updated. All constructive feedback appreciated.

I cannot enter my wallet @ in the field , is it auto filled with a different one and I cannot copy paste ( Firefox )

I ve got this address in the field : CQ1EvUwCjvkwYfKdZURBJmMLR82gMPKT5P or CQ_EvUwCjvkwYfKdZURBJmMLR82gMPKT5P HuhHuhHuh? do not know

Look like a script that modify the address as soon I paste it in the form it is very confusing but I suppose it is for encrypting purpose ?

sorry about that...it was a mask to show users what a wallet address looked like, but not fill it in... I've removed it, so it should work fine now.

thanks for feedback. previous testing didn't uncover that, because that was the address I was using for testing.  Embarrassed

Hi Chris,

It is normal as I said - It is a self signed certificate - so we increase the security for the miners without high charges (certificate are expensive).
I am sure Miners are good enough in computer science to understand the meaning of that message. Grin

I can also remove the certificate but MPOS is known to have a flaw in term of security with http protocol. (All pass in clear on the network, easy to catch login, password, pin and hack wallets )

You can get a real cert for $9 a year, I'd hardly call that expensive.

Certificate SSL should be free, I am not really ready to pay that. It is so simple to generate, the real cost should be under a $ ,

but if the pool drain enough Canadacoin , I will pay to it a brand new certif   Roll Eyes

Glop, when I try accessing that link I get an "untrusted site" warning that says this:

"pool.cryptexchange.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed."

You might want to look at fixing that as it could scare off potential miners.

Regards,

Chris

Note for the miners,

Do not be afraid to click when you have a self signed certificate (You may Just want to verify the host in the certificate...) , It increases a lot your mining site security.

Do not also be afraid to spread between mining site; high level rate site produces generally less efficiency than medium rate site and more site increases the security of the network.

    Happy CanadaCoin !!!!

IS good that POS working fine in the wallet.
been away from the board for a bit, but seems like Canada coin continues to implement a good plan, and things are shaping up nicely, really happy that I am part of this coin.  I emailed and PM'ed Bitterex again, really shocked when I see Doje coin get added and not a much better coin like CDA.

Dev keep up the awesome work!!
wow Bittrex come on.....why are they listing crap coins and not CDA?  I am going to rain Emails and Pm's at them soon.  LOL  I don't know what the dev's of these other coins do to get listed on Bittrex? I mean from what I am seeing on the DOJE boards is that Dev is all but vanished!  took the rest of the community to figure out the fork issue, and here on CDA we have a great dev from what I can tell, a good solid Country coin with POS and exchanges are taking on utter crap coins?

CanadaCoin you get any kind of response from Bittrex or any other exchanges.

I have to admit that it hasn't been my top focus...though I did send a follow up email to poloniex as well as an initial email to Atomic Trade, which is new, but seems to have a good rep and US dollar trading capacity.

Mintpal has a voting system- which you can also buy votes on, but a long list...is it worth the effort to list? Will members of this community participate on a regular basis in voting us up.

Any other exchanges that  you guys suggest that we approach?

There is a lot of exchange, but to say a couple of them...

I did get a tweet from Bittrex suggesting they are working on getting CDA up.  I hope they werent just being cheeky LOL
