Because their intention was not to deliver anything of value in the first place, it happens frequently around here lately. The next time you see coin launched by "developer" who
joined this forum that same day or a week earlier you better think twice before falling for whatever stuff he is pitching. Unknowns - junior members and such - hardly ever deliver
everything they promised and most of them deliver just partialy (basic wallet with some fancy graphics and similar stuff that cost under 1 BTC to create).

He was right though, volume DID surge. Price plummeted from 52K to 12K, but hey, you can't have everything.

When every coin will have it then it's not important which coin it is.
The coin with the best option to be exchanged to fiat currency will win this race.
None of the altcoins can be exchanged to fiat easily and fast, many don't even have the volume for a big market when vendors have to sell their coins for fiat money to buy more goods or to enjoy their gains from selling goods ....

I must say even though I am out of Cloak it would be really cool to see the dev team come through. I think it would help the spirit of crypto overall.
Agreed, nothing truly interesting to invest in anymore. CLOAK could have been the top altcoin. It had something about it which created a ton of buzz in the crypto world. Maybe it was the name, maybe the logo, the community, maybe TheDagger, but I know quite a few investors whose first time investing in crypto was with CLOAK. Now they're out and aren't touching crypto ever again lol.
Also agree - integrated market along with posa was a touch of brilliance. With all my admiration for CLOAK designers and developers this may have been too ambitious and complicated task to accomplish in such a short time. I wish you guys a great success with this truly unique project.
