Is there a read me or help file for the wallet anywhere? Trying to understand how / why amounts move back and forth  between balance and staking and what if any control there is over that. Thx for any feedback.

The market is impatient these days..
I'm currently bag holding from much higher levels than where we are now. But I have faith in the future of this coin so I don't mind.

- I am about break-even now, a little bit on the bright side.. I wouldn't hesitate buying more at these levels, but I am committed already Wink

- Now could be one of the last moments to really get in this train... but of course people decide for themselves!

- Earlier I was thinking of selling high, and buying back low later, but then I decided that this coin is too important to get involved in risky "trade games", (because of Murphy's law you are bound to get burned)... So now my tactic is to buy more at dips, and hold. I leave the day trading for other coins.

Hey Everyone.  I am having some difficulty in synching the new wallet and wondered if anyone can help me figure this out.  I had some trouble recently with another wallet and solved that issue with a 'repairwallet' command within the console.  I am not having the same success using this command within the Cloak wallet.

Wallet is encrypted but unlocked and is the new MAC download that is available on MEGA.

Thanks anyone that can help with this.

I was wondering if anyone could please help me with this:

The mined coins appeared last week (when I was using Windows Wallet 1.9.4) but were neither confirmed nor changed to "not accepted", and just stayed there as:
"Unconfirmed (0 of 4 confirmations) Generated but not accepted Mined"

I upgraded my wallet to 1.9.6 yesterday but this transaction is still there, doing nothing. I'm pretty sure I'm on the right blockchain (block explorer matches with my wallet).

Any ideas? Might just be one of those things.

Sure. The problem is that the mined transaction (2014-7-7) happened before the POS patch on block 59680 (2014-07-12)

Same happening here...since I updated the wallet all my stake went unconfirmed, not accepted.

Run "repairwallet" in debug window.

Patience is always hard to come by in crypto.  It's so easy to insight panic.

This problem was from PoS mining with the old wallet (1.9.4). I have yet to see any on 1.9.6 - "Expected time to earn reward is 22 day(s)." LOL

With OneMarket, the more I think about it, the more I think there needs to be a way to determine a repeat seller with certainty.  But I cannot think of a way this can be done in a decentralized way.  It could be anonymous, where there is some kind of token identifier the seller can list via a login to some third party site, but that still requires a central third party to store these logins.

Without some assurance that you are buying from someone who has had a number of successful transactions, I am not sure this can be successful.

I have this too, that's just a bit of coin you will never get due to the changes that happened then.

Thank you

Thank you - I didn't know PoS wasn't working until after 59680

To be honest I'm a little disappointed to hear about "regulations" in OneMarket.  I thought the idea was a decentralized "anything goes" type market.  You can't control what people do with it.  The beauty is unlike a hidden Tor site, you cannot shut it down.  Even hidden Tor services have a single point of seizure (server), but OneMarket would not live in any one place, like the blockchain.  You would not be able to arrest the cloak team because they aren't actually hosting anything, no one is. This = freedom from censorship and rules.

If you ban illegal drugs, I'm sorry but you are missing out on millions of dollars of Cloak that could be transacted per year.  Why have an elaborate anonymous marketplace if I'm buying PS4?  I think the key thing here is freedom, freedom to buy and sell what we please in a place that cannot be controlled by an entity.  People can already buy/sell illegal things anonymously without OneMarket

It's a tough spot to be in though, because I do disagree with illegal drugs, child porn, guns, etc.  But I will be showing my disagreement by not buying and supporting sellers thay sell these things with OneMarket.

It's easy for you to say this, as you are not going to be the one going to prison for making this.  And I am getting the general vibe that many people here want OneMarket to be the new Silk Road.  This is really dangerous for the developers, guys.

Also, this cannot really be fully anonymous.  I mean, the seller needs an address to ship to.

That's the seller and buyer's problem and not the coin infrastructure. Ever heard of dead drops? There are quite numerous ways to transact anonymously.
