We've been monitoring this wallet all day, it appears it was offline from 28th and the wallet was reopened today.

Because of coinage it looks like it is taking all the blocks as it is prioritised.

Looking at a solution (such as altering coinage) and keeping an eye on this very closely.

Is this what caused the low hashrate/diff and the fork?

In direct contact with the guy that owns this wallet now.

Thanks for the update!

Is the explorer on the right fork?  The hashrate is absurdly low and every single block appears to be generated by the same stake:

http://cloak.blockexplorer.cc/address/C2FV8NXZtbv7aaHmY5xMuNg6unKZ3Ko7Wo

This makes no sense since others should be on the same fork (I am) but there are no blocks from any other address.

I'm on the proper blockchain but can't seem to mint. Network weight is wrong however:

My current block number matches the blockchains.. Not sure what's going on

In other news:

OSX wallet 1.9.5.2 is available for mac users.

Sorry for the delay, in future updates they'll be released at same time as windows, one of the cloak devs can now compile mac wallets without us needing third party devs to do it.

cryptoyeah, the price is rising because of the impending POSA release. The fork is unfortunate, however the dev is all over it as usual Grin

not sure... the price is rising, because coins are not arriving to exchanges... now i can play this game with whales, but my cloacks are blocked somewhere, i don't know where...
its not fair!

I agree that voting should determine what's okay to be on the market, especially when laws vary according to where you're from and what's right/wrong comes from your own personal beliefs.

Anyways, I must admit that Cloak is the first crypto I ever put money in because the devs so far have been honest, open and truly innovative.

The Windows wallet (1.9.5.2) is working perfectly for me but I have a few novice crypto questions if anyone has free time:

What does the "Cloak this" button do for sending coins?
If I backed up my wallet a week ago, and sent some coins to it (same address) today but didn't back up again ... would those coins be available if I restored from the old back up and synced up?  I heard I should back the wallet up after every send of coins, but not necessary otherwise.
If I am minting coins, do I have to backup my wallet again when I receive rewards?  Or can I restore my wallet from the old file from a week ago?

That's all, thanks in advance!  Looking forward to growing with this community =)
I am just an end user. Not professional. But from experience you do not have to backup everytime. You backup once the wallet.dat file will find all new transactions attached to your old address once you restore that stored file in new wallet.
Somebody with more knowledge correct me if I am wrong please.

well you need to do another backup if your wallet.dat was not locked with a pw before and you decide to lock it

After over a week of the network being stable a fork happened during the night, investigating now.

A .rar has been prepared containing files to help anyone (that is not matching block explorer) to get back on the right one quickly (without having to download entire blockchain).

Swap them out for your existing files in %appdata% roaming (being sure to keep your .dat file safe)
