When you unlock your wallet for staking only, actually you can send coins. It shouldn`t be like this. If you unlock it for staking only, your coins should be still protected with pass when sending. Right ?
I've noticed this also

The blockchain is the future
How will IPs be refrained from bot voting and how will this be countered?                                                                           After we are buying goods how will we see the product, will it look like ebay or something new i dont understand. And the address of the buyer will be known by the seller so i dont think its full privacy but theres nothing to counter this.        And if this payment is private and decentralized, wont there have to be a 3rd party OneJury for example because the seller can cheat the buyer and a person will have to be required to hold funds.

Good. Silk road was a separate entity from BTC. One Market is tied to cloak. I own legitimate business and don't want to be tied to illegal coin. If there is a separate entity site that uses cloak for bad things than that's their problem. The dollar is used for illegal things all the time. The point of anon to me is that hackers wont be able to steal your identity. International marketplace is one of the great things that crypto has to offer. It is a truly international universal money that allows a guy in china to sell something to a guy in Ohio without all the conversion problems. That's what one market needs to be.
I agree, but the definition of illegal has to be refined or loosened. Example: Colorado legally allows for sale and purchase of marijuana. New York does not.

No payout on the multipool today. What's the problem?

This is not the only day that is an issue either. The multipool didn't pay out a few days ago because of problems with Cryptsy...Payments for that day appear to have been skipped, as the following days payment was just average. There is also no hashrate listed for that day, and no payout history. So theres actually two days now that are unaccounted for...I only have brought this up a few times because the Multipools success depends on its ability to payout consistently.

Whats the purpose of it if your going to just sell merchandise? You can do that at ebay.

To avoid the ebay/paypal fees.

PoSA Update:

Progress is coming along and the Cloak team is right on target.

On launch we want PoSA to work out the box with no glitches.

For that reason we would like to select 10 people from the community to help us in some testnet sessions.

We are updating our testnet daemons for this purpose right now.

The chosen participants will get access on Sunday (at best) or Monday.

A private IRC will be created for the group selected to be our PoSA testers.

We need some heavies because your only job will be to try and hammer it into the ground and break it!

Applicants please send pm and you'll be notified this weekend if you are invited to be a Cloakcoin PoSA tester.

PoSA testnet may begin as early as tomorrow or Monday. Prepare for CLOAK takeoff!!

Please be patient with us in terms of marketing.

There will be a big push when PoSA is out and during development of CloakMarket.

Big marketing push will be coming soon!

I´ve got a picture! Haha!
Oh I was not here for some time and I don´t have a time to read 30+ pages, but from that little that I read about OneMarket, I have only to say its amazing, but even that I agree that "(most) drugs are bad, mkey", I totally dislike the fact that "someone" can shut down listing just because "someone" dislike the fact that other ppl like drugs.

One person can't shutdown an ad, it works on a voting system so there's going to be alot more people involved in the voting process.
Thanks for brief info, I have to sink into whitepaper to get it all. Cloak was one of my favorites from beginning and I am glad that I was not wrong Smiley

Welcome back g0re!

Yeah same here. I think most people don't really care about drugs either way it's more of a political issue. Countries like Portugal that have decriminalized drugs have seen drug usage drop. A single individual wont have the ability to shut down a listing - If the majority thinks its OK then it'll be OK. We do have a moral responsibility to show the world that we can govern ourselves by excluding things like child porn and human trafficking.

i would never vote to allow weapons to be sold, as it's morally irresponsible. you could be selling a gun to someone who for good reasons could not get their hands on one legally. you coule be an accomplice in something terrible happening, this is not good karma for crypto. there's a reason for checks and balances in some parts of our society. and onejury will show the world where our own moral compass sits when ungoverned by outside forces.

as long as it cannot be hacked, or compromised with botvotes etc. then this will be a huge beacon to show what the decentralised community is REALLY looking for. let it devlove into garbage, and it will only speed up our own destruction.

if we start seeing ads for weapons, hitmen, human trafficking, child porn etc. then IMO that shit had to be voted down immediately. because trust me, there's A LOT of people that are going to have a wait-and-see attitude towards this system. the authorities being one of them.

setting a precedent which could push crypto forward, or set it back to the stone ages, it's a big responsability that we bear, and shouldn't be taken lightly. can you just see the headlines? "perp uses bitcoin-based currency to do heinous act x,y,z" it could be a media shitstorm. and while the crypto die-hards don't give a fuck about that stuff (true crypto anarchists), it does really hurt the investors, and the crypto movement as a whole from being a mainstream way of life.

i fear that some people like their place as part of an underground movement, and will resist going mainstream, even though it's clear that that's the direction we're heading, and we'll all benefit when you can use cryptos to buy mostly anything you want. just not freaking flamethrowers lol.
