Codex = decentralized registry of unique arts and assets?

I get your point but how are you supposed to monitor if those registered in your project are still alive after some years? Most of the unique art and assets are smuggled and bought by some rich guy from somewhere. Or it might be destroyed in some house fire or someone stole it and kept it themselves. So how?

Maybe they will come up different solutions for your questions because we have seen some many questions are being answered by the team in a telegram and it is better to divert your question because that's why they mentioned Codex Protocol will easily eliminate Smuggled assets.
even though this is a new project, but has been hit by a negative issue, about the security of funds, I also have not seen the Codex Protocol in various exchanges,
is the ICO still not finished?

Hi there, can you please clarify: "how are you supposed to monitor if those registered in your project are still alive after some years?"
I do not understand this question.

"Most of the unique art and assets are smuggled and bought by some rich guy from somewhere." - This is not very accurate.  Actually, there are auction houses/museums/collectors, that will benefit to use Codex. And this is who Codex is looking to pursue.

If an item is "smuggled and bought by some rich guy", they will likely not use Codex, as the history would expose them. So this is not really a concern for Codex.

In case there is a fire or stolen item, there are what is referred to as "behavioral incentives" which will sync the registry with physical items.

May I ask about ICO from the Codex Protocol? I don't see the Codex token sale, is the sale over?
if it's already why I find it hard to find out where the Codex Tokens are traded?

The team already raised $12M USD in a private sale, the sales are now closed and the token sale has been converted to an airdrop. You can see details on the Airdrop here https://medium.com/codexprotocol/codexcoin-sale-update-airdrop-3af53c6a5e9b
The tokens haven't been distributed and are not tradeable yet.
