Once again, you have not provided any proof of an inside job and if the CoinDash team really wanted to scam everyone, why not just have a "normal" ICO and run away with the funds afterwards? They would of raised a whole lot more Ethereums instead of ending the ICO earlier due to the hack.

The websites and servers are vulnerable. It is easy for an experienced hacker to crack a website and place his wallet inside. I think Coindash website was hacked and wasn't a scam from the founders.

Don't know. Maybe the hackers are scared and think returning 10k ETHs will make the CoinDash team forget about continue investigating so that they can spend the remaining ETHs that the have from the hack.

I doubt that, he will expose himself more by selling back the fund, I just feel something is not adding up here. If there is a proof of inside job that some people are suggesting then the main issue should be brought to light

I will like to know why the hackers refund the stolen Ethereum, there should be a suitable explanation on this, because it sound wierd that someone when through all those stress and later decided to refund the funds.

That is indeed very good news came out this time by having 10k ethereum more in funds to use them for development. Coindash team was carrying out with all available resources in way. One thing is clear availability of more funds means more flexibility. Coindash will not remain under the radar for long time.

I signed up for Coindash beta, but as a portfolio we are only able to introduce the ethereum address. If it support Bitcoin, Waves and others, I could even think of using it actively right now.

I think that there won't be support to the third party investment instruments prior to 2019, that is, these coins. Or Do I understand wrong?

download the etherwallet-v3 and just open it locally on your browser. you won't be able to accidentally click a phishing link with this. there are tons of scammers lurking even on slack channels of legit team. you'd be one of the luckiest if the hacker sends your token back.

But one thing i don't understand
488 ETH were transferred from the hacker’s Ethereum account to Shapeshift via several proxy accounts.

Therefore what happen is that investigation were made by the cybercrime parties and they traced proxy account
Then Shapeshift were informed so once the hacker transfer/Swap their Ethereum, Shapeshift transfer back the ETH to the Coindash Account?

I really want to know more on how the team was able to get the fund beck from hacker's account, why can't DAO team employ thesame means instead of opting for Hard fork, or is the hacker that voluntarily send back the fund to COindash team
