What you're saying is definitely true, it is easy to manipulate the price. However, if you look at the values in cryptorush, that's not really what's happening.

Wowsa, what the eyff just happened to the price of Coino? Good thing I sold half my stash during the first days of coinmarket.io...

yeah... that happens if the responsible persons think the coino is a fast-selling item Wink

Ignore the price.

The current number of transactions on these exchanges is too low to give a proper price as the market is too easy to manipulate.

Somebody lists 0.1 COINO at 500 sats less than the last price and then the next person to come along with a sell order for a few hundred sees this price and then just drops it by another 1 or 2 sat to make sure they sell.

The upside of this is that if you are looking to buy COINO then you get yourself a great deal. As does the person selling 0.1 coino because you can bet your ass they are then buying up all the coins from the people who cant be bothered to see what the better price should really be.

Just another reminder to my fellow coin(o)ers.

Please lets balance the network hash rate a bit more. It's really not good to have 1 pool with more than 50% of the hash.

So I would like to suggest some of you guys mining at dedicated move your hashing over to a smaller pool.

My suggestion would be for poolers pool at www.poolers.org. Poolers is THE most active pool owner in the Coin(O) community and deserves our support.

Were up to 50Mh/s now but I for one would like to see the pool hash rate go up to at least 80Mh/s

So, if your currently mining at dedicated pool (this is no doubt a great pool as well, I started off here and had no issues) why not come over to the poolers coin pool party and join the fun Smiley

For every found block we pay 38 coins instead of the regular 35 + fees

How can you possibly payout more coins than you have coming in?  If your pool finds a block and the pool wallet receives 35 coins and you keep 1% for your fee then there are only 34.65 coins left to payout. If your members go to withdraw their coins your pool wallet wont have enough coins to cover the payments. Your liquid balance will just keep falling further and further into the negative until payments just stop.

This is fully correct, HOWEVER i'm running this as a promotion, I have purchased some coins and put them in the hotwallet, so for the short term i can pay out more than i earn. I loose money i know, but i expect to get some more miners in, so i can show the power of my pool. The bonus is for the short term only! Roll Eyes

What happened to the mintpal and cryptsy bribes? The devs said they were gonna do it a while ago. I don't think we're getting much more votes on mintpal since they changed the voting rules.

When are you guys going to understand coino.info have already been tagged as a scam site.. Why are you guys even mining there where there is dedicated and poolers? Jesus christ... Coino.info have no relations to coino itself

You do realize that is what I said, just nicer right?  I learned my lesson early enough to not lose out too much, but there are plenty of others that have gone there solely because it was showing the highest coino return per hash and it's listed on Coino.org as a valid pool.

The issue isnt with people thinking that Coino.info has anything to do with Coino.org. The issue is that Coino.info is listed as a valid pool currently.
The Coino.org team could help relieve this issue if they removed Coino.info from the list of valid pools; at least until they point to the correct nodes.

I wouldn't say its a scam site though, they were legitimately sending out Coino payments to my old wallet.

where is admin of coino.info? grrrrr Angry

I don't think they're going to do anything about the Coino mined at Coino.info.  It's mining off of an old blockchain (pre gravity well) and the coins mined are invalid with the new wallet. If you hadn't updated your wallet, you could have the coin in the wallet, but it won't translate over to the new wallet... as I found out.

Since then I've joined and used poolers and dedicated pool, with slightly better results from my low hashrate on poolers.  I've also used the P2P pool with success on the new wallet and it will send your coins in increments with a "mined" note next to it.  This is a bit slower confirmation of the coino earned than using a pool, mainly because there arent nearly the same amount of miners using it with high hash rates to push the blocks processed.

I've learned to live with the fact that I've lost out on 850 coino, and contracted out a few people to help mine me some extra coino in the process Smiley.  This is the first time I've actually invested $ into cryptocurrency, and it's for good reason.

Even still, Coino has a great community and a good backing to the currency.  A marketing plan can make or break an idea or a company, and the Coino team has a great one!  Just to see the amount of time and money they have invested in the cryptocurrency makes me confident in their plan and idea for the future of Coino.

Coino has been live for 2 months now, and just knowing that and how many people have been tracking this coin is awesome.  It seems much more mature than that!  I'm happy to be one of the first people to unearth this new coin and bring it to market Smiley.
