Coin(O) is not on the voting list, because it is already on the market. Look up the ticker CNO for Coin(O).

how to connect directly to the server miner coino ?
Need server addresses Coino CNO

What will you get if you can do this?
Not really clear on what you want as there isn't a central Coin(O) server.
That's not how these cryptocurrencies work.

Let us know what you want to achieve and we'll gladly point you in the direction to get you on your way Smiley

It's a pleasure to read so many reactions Smiley... Positive or negative, whatever : we want reactions in order to debate and go further with CoinO Smiley.

Thanks for your participations Smiley.

absolutely positive reaction: these are good ideas. Of course for any contribution to the pages that are gonna be created, raise the hand and the community will react: we're gonna defend our interest, eventually ;-)

Thank you Swisscex for changing the ticker to CNO. We thank you. Swisscex has changed the Coin(O) ticker to CNO the way it should be. This is good news. Smiley

Is there way to receive or send coins automatically? Do you have any existant API for wallet ?

The most recent "upgrade not required" version restored the walletnotify and similar API features that had been removed at some point along the way.  I've never used them, but the web wallet does and works well.  It should be happy to work for you as well.

Ok, thanks a lot. Can you tell me please, where I can download or how can I set up web-wallet in my web-server?

The web wallet is located at https://wallet.coinocoin.com - it isn't something you setup on your own - you just use it as a web wallet.  Its the official web wallet.

To setup to do your own API stuff, you would just install the wallet.  I assume you are using linux, if you are, you download the source from the github listed on coinocoin.com and install it.  Once Coinod is running, you can connect to the API using the username and password you setup during configuration.  The wallet is based on litecoin - so anything you find about their API is also true of ours.  The web wallet we are using uses that same API to connect and move coins around, etc.  There is also a game section in the web wallet where you can bet coins on a slot machine - that slot machine also makes use of the API.  So, its well tested and working well.

All I want from the Coin(O) daemon/wallet is a secure blockchain, fast confirmations, solid rpc interface. Then optimise the internals to minimise resource usage. Thus allowing for the equivalent of the "eftpos/visa debit" system to go global. If this core function is executed well then others are able to reliably create services on top or use other tech like clearing house etc.

A reliable core allows others to create web wallets, or electrum like clients. operate their exchanges etc. A ubiquitous system of instant trusted payments is what I would like to see Coin(O) become.

Pretty much an instant version of bitcoin. Want to be able to wave something at a shop and the account is settled (merchant paid, i have goods/service).

I know smcardle talked about creating a new twitter, facebook page, etc. in the past to help build the community but I don't think that was ever done.  If no one objects, I'm willing to create and manage some of this stuff as I have a bit more free time in the foreseeable future.  Of course, I can always give out the credentials to this stuff to anyone else in the community who are heavily involved in coino and have proven to be trustworthy.  These places could be where we update the community on news and what's going on with coino.  I'm also thinking about creating an emailing list.  Any comments?
