Some people like to read well presented information before they invest or use a new product.

In my 2 years travelling and informing on Bitcoin, that was the most effective thing there was to answer the huge number of questions.. a well organised, cogent website. There a just too many questions, and too many different levels of aptitude to expect the population to understand so easily.

Website that can build community around it with often updates, own tweets, forum, articles etc. can do a lot in sense of marketing.

You also need to make people want to go to the website too Wink

Look at slick website of BC, you wanna own this coin, look at black card, you want it. COMM MUST have slick website. Period.

I never went to BC website, or COMM website. I think its cute but insignificant.
Megacoin has probably better website than both, but didnt do much to help it.
With that said I still pledge for it, but also want to pledge for other things

I agree partitially with wasamata. For a new coin a website is always important, but functionallity and innovation is what can set you off from the competition. There are plenty of coins out there with a sleek website design (even a video) but they are selling for next to nothing, eg. ECC.
