Keeping People Honest - Don't Get Scammed
I originally was the owner of the subreddit.

Want to know something interesting?  The dev insisted on being the owner and not just moderator (to control things) so he paid me 0.4 bitcoin  to give up the subreddit.

I believe you.  Don't bother proving anything to these shills.  They can't handle the truth.

and say nothing against the holy dev! they all fear his holy almightyness watching all the accounts! Grin Grin Grin Grin

It's pathetic isn't it?

It is dangerous as well.  There is a chance a lot of people will lose a lot of money.  I have heard people talk about putting everything they have into communitycoin.

Anyone that put money into COMM can consider it gone.

don't understand all your crying the other day then...

Because I put a lot of work into this coin and was rejected.

No one likes to be snubbed and not invited to the party.

You forgot to say you've already paid by 1mil COMM.

Do you think your crying can earn another 1mil COMM for you?   You know the answer. So don't waste time here. Have your own life.

Oh no, I have given up on getting the second stake.  I sold every single one of my coins and am here mostly to warn people about the high scam risk. (I admit it also gives me some satisfaction.)

And I am not crying.  I have am actually smiling right now.

But you are right, I need to have my own life and turn my mind to other things.  My behavior is not that effective except to offer some distraction from the pain.  But in reality it just leads to more rumination.

My therapist advocates that I practice compassion.  I am willing to do so.

I still think people need to be warned though of the scam risk.

You need to ask for your money back from your therapist...

warrenp why did u dump ur coins? Sad

now its going down harder than I expected. just sent a pm to the dev that u are a dumper.

he asked me to observe for him. i am one of 8 observers.

lol wut? I haven't sold any coins... only bought.

I think you have and I'm pm'ing the dev to tell on you.  The dev will not be happy and you'll get in trouble.

I'm still waiting for the coins from eightspaces... guess they aren't coming... he was just trying to get me to post my wallet address to get banned.

That's the magic of free distributed coins.  Even if the price dump to the bottom, there is nothing to loss for the stakeholders.
So I don't think it's proper to call the coin as a scam because the dev can't rob one dollar from my pocket.
And besides a lot of haters, there are also a lot of supporters. Why won't the coin succeed if there are still a lot of active member?

You are wrong.  Just look at the number of people buying the coins.  There are a lot of people who did not get stake who are putting a lot of money into this.  These people will lose money if this is a scam.
I actually bought coins and had around 40 thousand extra (1,040,000) when I was rejected from second round stake for moving my coins.

But how can it be a scam? Comm is in comm hands now to grow!

Unless you are a stakeholder who bought a bunch of extra coins. Then it will hurt you. Trashing this coin because of dissatisfaction or distrust of the dev is really only going to hurt those who have invested, so repeatedly spamming this thread is more than just "warning" people. It is attempting to tank their investment.

Unfortunately I do not believe any of these suggestions will be followed xtester and we will only go further and further off track, I bought into the community aspect and purchased COMM off the exchanges, I will leave it in my wallet as it reaches a 0 value as a reminder and hopefully lesson learned.  If DEV can prove me wrong I would love that but I have a bad suspicion DEV will not be around these parts ever again.

Follow your feeling, just do it.

pathetic lol

i dont buy comm, its over man

i am just warning all the poor souls who have hope and will wait until it sinks to 1 satoshi in their delusion

i see this as my job as a good guy, dont be angry.

Putting so much work like you (and few more with similar attitude) posting around here every second post like that could be also understood like an intentional driving price down.

I'm not saying this is your intention cause I don't know it, but also looks like that from other side Wink

And people that got stakes have nothing to lose, can only gain, so they don't have to dump anything and most probably will not.

The risk of holding something you got for being active member that wants to participate in opposite to dump it like a rock is in favor of holding.

Drive the price down?  It's already on the bottom and won't be coming back up.

Don't you people wonder why the dev is silent and no updates about the 20%?

You people are brainwashed.  Some unknown dev has you all doing his bidding while he sits back smoking a cigar drinking single malt scotch dumping his coin.

This is the wallet you mentioned about. Ballance is still the same (almost 200mln) since the day posted about it.

You need to ask for your money back from your therapist...

That is a pretty ignorant thing to say.  You know nothing about me and my situation.  My life has been considerably better since I voluntarily entered into a therapy program so I could create a life worth living for myself.

My therapist says I am exactly where I need to be.  The program takes a year to really begin working.  (Borderline personality disorder is a hard one to treat)

Just gonna say a Therapist & Therapy is nothing more than someone Using Reverse Psycology on you and makes you answer your own questions & Pockets Big $$$ for it, when all you have to do is set your mind to accomplish something without others Help. I'm fine & Have been to hell and Back twice and I am as stable as a Rock & Enjoy my life and everything in it Smiley

If this coin is to succeed I think a few things must be done.

1. OP needs to be cleaned up and better organized with the new community selected coin logo for branding, you only get one chance at a first impression.

2. On the issue of the missing coins, I can't understand how "all efforts" as described by the OP were used to recover the data when the hard drive was said to have failed only that morning, exhausting all efforts to recover lost data is not a 2 hours and I'm done type of job.  If there is a failed hard drive with this data on it then an effort, a real and exhaustive effort, should be explored to recover this data even up to paying a fee for a 3rd party to recover the data perhaps with funds raised by the community.  If after truly exhausting all efforts to recover the data we find that the funds are indeed lost then there must be complete transparency as to how this situation will be remedied and ideally the decision will be put to a community vote before a final decision is made.

3. A donation pool should be raised to hire the DEV an official community secretary, DEV's organizational skills are wretched.  The staking lists given that included both staked and non-staked with no designation between the two was just the tip of the iceberg on the things that were handled poorly on the clerical side and this has caused mass confusion in the thread and muddying the waters. This designated secretary's first order of business should be to put out a final "official" list of members who received stakes and the amount received, again transparency is badly needed for the coin to succeed.  If we can't fill this secretary position or DEV is not in tune with the idea, can some one for the love of Pete please introduce the DEV to the concept of a spreadsheet?

In the end, the grief and in-fighting that has currently got this thread completely off track are almost completely due to mistakes made by DEV that were easily correctible or avoided completely, my opinion is he should step up his game if you will and do his very best to fix the most obvious faults and help the community get back on track.

This coin can still be saved I think but now it is on life support and that makes me sad.

Come on people lets focus on doing some productive things for the community. Where are the real updates?

Unfortunately I do not believe any of these suggestions will be followed xtester and we will only go further and further off track, I bought into the community aspect and purchased COMM off the exchanges, I will leave it in my wallet as it reaches a 0 value as a reminder and hopefully lesson learned.  If DEV can prove me wrong I would love that but I have a bad suspicion DEV will not be around these parts ever again.

(which was debunked as just a lie, cuz the coins are to use for his own, for slowly staking and dumping)

What a garbage from the community. The dev said it clearly and published the wallet. And they are going to put in the coin code to block this wallet. What are the garbages you are talking about?

The problem of the community is always there are some small number of people behaving really badly. Once these junks are cleared out of the community, the community will become a lot more healthier. I don't get why someone behaves so low, must be the same in real life. Get out of here, junks!

all this spamming is drowning out left posts. to keep my last one shorter, I noticed that when I made my withdrawal of 25K that the TX created another address to "send" the remainder of my 1 million coins too. Thus my balance of my posted address read 0! I am thinking, holy crap.. no WONDER i got blacklisted. I assume my wallet generated a new address and did this? I have never seen that happen when sending before. Did this happen to anyone else?

Here is the Transaction: http://www.coinexplorers.com/tx/3f5d19e56c7669047ad4e0657cd1278ce69fcf0679bb41d9074752ca062c848f#i0

Damn!!! Try send the dev a pm.
Did you download the official wallet from the OP?
Is your wallet the windows wallet or mac?

Yeah I did download the official wallet. I guess I will PM him on this. I find it strange that some members keep saying that I did something wrong by moving 25K to an exchange. 10K of that got donated for the multipool, without any conditional "if you give me more coins," and the other was to have some volume on the exchanges. Members who think that it would be good to have had zero coins on the exchanges should stop and think about that for a second. How does that work? Explain it to me so I can understand your vision of full wallets and empty exchanges without trading. The multipool is up now, but it wasn't at the time. Should the exchanges relied on money from the faucets? Oh, and who would give coins to the faucets if no one moved coins? I may have missed something about the distribution, so I am asking this seriously.

If anything you maybe invalidated your round 2 claim... possibly... I didn't even send my pledge for multipool until I got my second stake... just in case.

Any stakeholder can do whatever they choose with their coins... sell... dump... donate... but something went whacko... perhaps you have malware on your pc?

Well, I have the coins in my wallet still.  Just that huge transfer is no longer associated with my main address, and the only address that I can see in my address book. It seems that my wallet sent coins to itself and created another hidden address. Just weird. Malware wouldn't do this would it?? Now I am a bit nervous.
