I am grateful for his contribution.
If developers do not do maintenance, the community needs to do maintenance.
His contribution will benefit Yenten users.

only download and sync with old file?

or need to download any bootstrap?

If you have an existing 2.0.1 installation it should work with the existing block data. Just make sure to backup (wallet, block, peers, ...) so you can revert if anything goes wrong. Rule of thumb: If it does not sync use data from http://yenten-pool.ml/blocks_yenten_last.zip otherwise you should be good.

Its not even GitHub lol. Like I would trust some random guy and download from an unfamiliar site.  Roll Eyes

Well, you can copy it to GitHub if that makes you feel better Wink Joking aside, no version control system is going to save you from a malicious executable. I can tell you it's clean but i won't blame you for being cautious. If you rather play it safe and stay with a stale version where bugs are left unfixed that's up to you. If that benefits the network in the long run is another question though.

Edit: Btw, this is basically a replacement for the binaries ohashi3d removed and aside from the initial 64bit release missing a DLL there hasn't been any negative feedback (as you can see on Discord). I hope some people can test and vouch for this as staying with the official wallet might not be exactly optimal at this point.

I also checked the block 248958 by v1.3.1:
https://twitter.com/ohashi3d/status/1054504341715873793

The block version (decimal: 2) is strange, and that's whiy CVE-2018-17144-fixed wallet didn't get this block.
Also emply input field is observed...
And...though it's quick test by almost default BTC setting, blocks after 248959 by v1.3.1 aren't readable by this BTC-RPC-Explorer...

I had been thinking that v1.3.1 blockchain may be healthy, but it doesn't look so.
 - Originally v201fix source code has a block version check part, and it prevents v201-based wallet from picking the version 2 block.
 - CVE-2018-17144-fix made the situation that the original wallets and CVE-2018-17144-fixed wallets banned each other.
By these two reasons, CVE-2018-17144-fixed wallets couldn't participate in both v1.3.1 and v2.0.1 chains and got stuck at block-height 248957...
...it's my thought, so far.

Thank you for trying my repository.
I wonder whether version number should be changed like 2.0.2 just for distinction or not...

Yes, i think it would be good to see how many nodes are updated. Also with higher version number it will be less confusing for people which wallet to use and in my opinion that is yours. Yenten does not need any more strange surprises...

Today, I've just tried BTC-RPC-Explorer:
https://github.com/janoside/btc-rpc-explorer

Here is a screenshot of block height 248958 by v2.0.1fix.
https://twitter.com/ohashi3d/status/1054404573526294528
It looks strange for me...
# Don't mind 25BTC mining reward. it's by default BTC setting.
# I've just changed RPC port number and user/password for quick trying.

The developer Conan should specify which version all users should use..It's time Mr  Conan to make some announcement.

i think last version v2.0.1fix is ok but if dev tell us or bring new wallet version is better.

Only difference between 2.0.1fix and https://github.com/ohashi3d/yenten is addition of correction for CVE-2018-17144. There is also a pull request for this on the official github (https://github.com/conan-equal-newone/yenten/pull/24). So far i have no problems with the daemon from https://github.com/ohashi3d/yenten so i am sticking with it for now.

Is yenten still alive? I thought it was as dead as coinmarkets. Whatever is the case, CPU coins are good and I liked the concept of this one but to me it seems abandoned while ago with no signs of recovery unless community takes over but in that case no coin has been successful at doing so, except ethereum classic.
