That said, the coin isn't messed up, that's just how PoS / PoW hybrids work.

messed up ones like vvv, most of them stop when their supposed to... I've probably mined 40 pow/pos coins now, most run/finish flawlessly.

if it was expected it wouldn't have been in the op that pow stops at block 10,000
