I've read through this thread and all I've seen is how everyone talks about how nice the idea is. Is there an MVP or at least a working prototype for the simplest idea in this project? Dev. updates? What has actually been done already?
The Digest app would have been launched before now, but we are raising the standards higher. It would run on Solidity but the Demo/Alpha version would run on Django/Python for now before switching. It's currently 90% complete and is being moved over for hosting. An announcement would be made to the public once this is complete

I've read through this thread and all I've seen is how everyone talks about how nice the idea is. Is there an MVP or at least a working prototype for the simplest idea in this project? Dev. updates? What has actually been done already?

It's currently 90% complete and is being moved over for hosting. An announcement would be made to the public once this is complete

Am asking too much questions because am so interested in supporting this project. Don't mind my bad English. 
But why is Cryptogene tokenized, What is the use case for their token, Why must their be a token for this kinda project?
But why is Cryptogene tokenized, What is the use case for their token, Why must their be a token for this kinda project? The token will serve as the base currency on their platforms. The token Will as well show a great level of commitment among participants as well as keep interest alive among users.
The token being the base currency Will also be the economic backbone of Cryptogene.

HAVENE is a system where currencies and other digital assets can be exchanged with cryptocurrencies without the traditional barrier of borders. The Cryptogene Token will serve as the base currency for this exchange.
SPIEL is a social media platform targeted towards communication or inviting members to organized social events. It would be similar to bitcointalk forum or but tokenized. This would be the advanced phase of the parent Cryptogene telegram group
SILK allows members to share their blockchain ideas and get crowd-funded for a start-up. Also, developers and other related service providers could pledge their involvement if the owner of the idea requests for services. Another interesting feature is the ability for a member to post a concept and let the idea be developed by community members by brainstorming. The participating members then become stake-holders in the project after a proof-of-idea has been verified. SILK comes with a voting mechanism that enables individuals who stake the platform’s token have a degree of vote to implement a project.

Crowdfunding and brainstorming does not need to be done on the blockchain. You realize that putting all of these operations on the blockchain is slower and more expensive than it would normally be? Your cap can't even handle the scope of what you want to achieve.
You may have a point, but have you considered the benefit of using blockchain technology for crowdfunding?
It Will give such benefit as transparency and mitigation of middlemen, thus reducing the total cost of the funds raising as well as realise funds on the basis of anonymity.
Trust me, using the blockchain technology as a crowdfunding platform is cost effective, transparent as well as protects individual personal details in Favour of the participants.

CGT would enable less expensive and more widely accepted cross-border transactions between African countries than the currently popular mobile payments. All Cryptogene projects would be
integrated with CGT. A sizeable amount will be generated and sold in a crowdsale to
raise funds for Cryptogene projects. The Cryptogene developers would hold a reasonable
amount for continuous development along the line while being staked. The total
percentage to be sold in the crowdsale would be based on a fair ratio to ensure a perfect
internal economy, supporting buy-back programs. There can only be a reasonable
