bathrobehero, could you please post an exemple of a working .bat for a 750ti..? Getting home tonight and can start experiment a little bit easier then than on distance.

Sorry, I haven't had the time to play with it since yesterday (has some serious drinking to do  Grin) but I used this:

...
gpuplotgenerator.exe generate 0 0 "plots" address 3000001 100000 4096 4 1024
gpuplotgenerator.exe generate 0 0 "plots" address 3100001 100000 4096 4 1024
gpuplotgenerator.exe generate 0 0 "plots" address 3200001 100000 4096 4 1024
gpuplotgenerator.exe generate 0 0 "plots" address 3300001 100000 4096 4 1024
gpuplotgenerator.exe generate 0 0 "plots" address 3400001 100000 4096 4 1024
...
25GB files.

4 and 8 threads seemed to be way faster for the 780 Ti.

it doesn't work for me, stuck at "static arguments"

So there isn't any CUDA 5.5 compatible updates ?  Huh Undecided

You actually need 6.0. Why the hell do you have a compute 5.0 card and a driver that doesn't even support compute 5.0 specific shit?

Cause I'm using Linux KopiemTu 1.4.

Waiting for the next 2.0 Release including latest Nvidia updates.
May-be you should discuss with KopiemTu dev so he upgrade his project, I think we made it clear a few months back, that we won't support anymore 5.5. (mostly because it takes forever to compile).

Now if you want to compile with 5.5 you need to remove compute_50/sm_50 it should work (may-be not on the optimization level though...)

So, KopiemTu 2.0, with Cuda 6.5 and 340.32 driver - is already available:

I haven't been mining XMR on the 750TI for a while now, but I could bet that cayar's release (NVMiner) is the fastest (that, or some earlier release from TSIV, not the latest one). My cards (slightly overclocked) were easily reaching 275h/s, so those values posted don't look quite right.

Is ccminer v1.2 capable of mining XMR with a GTX 750ti?  I have found there was a fork of ccminer from the summer that was able to do it, but I can't find a download.  Has it been included in v1.2?

Thanks for the help!

Thanks for that.  Any reason on why my GTX 750ti is only pulling 20 H/s?  I've seen reports of 200 H/s.  Why would mine be so low?

B

660TIs give better results than 750TIs for cryptonight. I get over 250 h/s for the 660s and only 225 for 750s.

Thanks for the information.  I guess the main question is why is my 750ti doing 10% of your hashrate?  Care to share your batch file?

B
ccminer.exe -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://moria.dwarfpool.com:8050 -u blahblahaddress -p x -l 8x60

Well, I'm in the process of going over to linux, but I still have - and will probably always have windows boxes, as some aren't dedicated solely for mining. And I also have to learn more about linux, I'm an old guy with limited time. But it's getter better Smiley Me converting to linux started with xcn, in fact Wink

If you have limited time - download KopiemTu linux distro for Nvidia cards.

Thats not too bad them. I've filled over 1TB in 2 days CPU generating. Need to put a new HDD in tonight

based on your stats i am expecting on a 780 to generate 1TB in roughly 11 hours

4000000n / 6200 n/m = 645 min / 60 = 10.75

am i totally off? if im not i will have to look into the gpu plotter when i get home

So far I can't get the 750 Ti to plot with 4096 stagger size which is what I started using. The 780 Ti can handle that but it takes quite a while before I get a feedback about the speed which makes trying out different configs quite tedious, especially because the plot generator keeps printing the speed on the same spot instead of writing it in new lines so I can't even feed the card a long batch file with different settings to harvest the numbers later. And my drives haven't arrived yet. Oh well.

So you have to do each plot separate on individual batch files? that would suck

bathrobehero, could you please post an exemple of a working .bat for a 750ti..? Getting home tonight and can start experiment a little bit easier then than on distance.

On a whole different note: I travel a lot and often need to reach my rigs from a distance.

Can any one recommend an alternative to TeawViewer? If find it requiring quite much resources. Just the recent days, I've had a lot of jave apps running (Burst), which in combination with running TeawViewer had the rig inresponsive. I'll lost abit of btc on that.

So any tips to replace TeawViewer with?

Thanks Smiley

Logmein.com but you have to pay
why not just linux and ssh (and takes absolutely no ressource)

My thoughts exactly. In fact, I'm rather confused as to why he didn't use it in the first place.

Because Linux ain't Windoze!

So I finally got Cudaminer working with CUDA 5.5 on my GTX 560, but it's reporting crazy high hashrates, in the range of 100,000-500,000 kh/s mining Scrypt.
On top of that, the pool I'm mining with to test it out only received two shares from me 10 minutes, and told me I was ranging from 0-3 kh/s.

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?
Which cudaminer are you using? Where did you download it from? What's your command line/batch file?

I assume I'm using the most recent version, since I downloaded the zip straight from the Github https://github.com/cbuchner1/CudaMiner
My sh file is
#!/bin/bash
cudaminer -H 2 -l F112x2 -o stratum+tcp://doge-us.poolerino.com:3333 -O username:password

It's exactly the same as when I used it to mine back in December, which worked.
Is there a new command line option since then that I have to add for it to work, maybe?

seems like GTX980 should be like 4 GT750Ti, which is little bit sad Sad
hope the leaks are wrong...

What's sad about it jsamul?
~ Myagui

He must of wanted it to be equal to 6 Tongue

exactly... at least 6 Smiley
mainly if the price will be 6 times the price of gt750ti Wink

750ti is around $125 i believe, with the 980 is expected to be selling for around the $500 price range.
so price will be 4 times higher Wink
but will the hash rate be 4 times higher. i guess we all hope.  Wink

just don't buy it at launch

profit?
yep  i wonder how long before we will see a price decrease?

I saw that some time ago on tv, there is a datacenter in Lyon, which heat is used to warm the water of a public swimming pool... (and that's probably on cpu...)
A gpu datacenter would probably be ok to boil water of a noodle restaurant  Grin

Ramen. mmmmmmmm

Never tried it, but would love to

Just don't buy that pre-packaged shit. I go to a place run by a Japanese immigrant and get the real deal. Find a guy like that and you will not be disappointed!
