Memclock matters a LOT when mining other algos like CryptoNight, though. I have mine at 1450/7000, usually.

I wrongly assumed it was XCN. He is mining X11.

Yes I realised that, it's all good brother.  I went + 650 memclock because I was following a guide: http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/20734u/5x_nvidia_750_ti_evga_rig_with_mods/

I got stability with +125/+200, but it's an uninspiring 2.75 Mh/s.

Is that it?  Tweak over?

No staying up until 5am for the next week playing with thread count/thread concurrency/lookup gap/core/mem/vddc combinations Huh

Yes that's about it on NVIDIA. No need for all that shit TC, LG bla bla bla.

2.75 Mh/s seems about right for X11. Don't forget though you are only pumping 60w / card.

Here is my hash for x11. I launched an instance just for the sake of it:

i would say the 2cm is the issue, i have over 5cm between my cards, and here are my temps from no card infront, to 2 cards infront

You actually didn't need to flash anything to start with. You could have simply OCed your cards and without excessive OCing easily reach 5 Mh/s with the latest ccminer v.5 of djm34 Wink - Look a few pages back, you will find it. I recommend you re-flashing your card to their default factory values. Wink

The +100 core seems right, although it could even be a bit more (+130 or +140) but that depends on each card. The +650 mem is way too much I believe and anyway it's not the mem that will make your hash-rate change significantly. I use + 200 mem. It could even be less that I wouldn't see much change.

Look at djm having her own miner and not giving it me when she knew my cards landed yesterday!  I'll take that one offline lol.

OK I'll reflash the stock bios and hunt around for djm's miner.  Thanks  Tongue

I just realised you were mining X11. Sorry I assumed it was XCN. I think your hashrate is about right. Perhaps others could confirm.

So I converted my first AMD rig to Nvidia  Smiley

Each card, GA Black, is sitting on circa 2.6 Mh/s x11, time to ramp things up a little  Grin

What's my best plan of attack for NVIDIA?

I've flashed a new bios with edited high watermarks of 65500 for power, went +100 Core and +650 Mem, each card hovered around 2.8 Mh/s then I got instability.

Is there a better way to approach it?

Cheers lads.

I really don't understand why people try flashing their cards before trying the basics first and then complain about low hashrates.

that's because you don't know where to search and don't read the thread (and also that I am to lazzy to update bigjme website)

Read the thread…1004 pages…yeah…  -_-

There is a search function you know, at the top right hand corner....

rather cool the new version of msi AB, it is now possible to arrange the graph on several columns (mask half of the screen... but hey...)

Hey dude, ccminer is fairly basic on the data, is there something similar to sgminer for nvidia?

Look at splitscreen. Basic data but more data than ccminer/nvminer.

So how do I keep an eye on all the things I'm used to with sgminer?  Or do I have to dump windows for something like PiMP to get the same level of stats?

especially when you could find the info on the last 5 pages....  Roll Eyes

I know that the crypto market isn't going well, but this is still about making money, so it makes me wonder why people can't make the effort to search the information they need.  Grin
