@cbuchner1:
Which series of INTEL Phi did you get. There are some variety of models and the price is so huge. Isnt it better investing in some Quadro or Tesla instead of Xeon Phi? Smiley

Good news! Welcome to Nvidia mining.

I also had 280xs in the past which I also undervolted in order to save some precious energy. Sold all of them and bought the less power hungry GTX 750ti - 60 watt top, so really no need to undervolt them. To my knowledge people are not really undervolting these cards. Actually some are even increasing the TDP in order to be able to get all the juice out of this cards as it seems the default TDP is not actually at its 100%. I don't bother with that though, not worth it in my opinion and haven't honestly looked at it closely. We however OC those 750ti but the OC might vary on each algo. For example I am OCing my cards at +135 core /+ 200 mem. I am sure I could OC the Memory more but I just don't want to lose time doing that so I averaged the values and did a -5/10% to be safe. Depending on your brand/model you might be able to OC more or less. It's all about testing them.

As for having 6 GPUs on the same mobo, I have absolutely no problem with that and need no hacking of any kind in order for all of them to mine properly. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64x on a 990FXA-UD3

Great, all my rigs have the UD3 as well, I'm on 8.1.

I got good results on the AMD cards by the usual 1081mv, -50 on core clocks & -75 on all mem clocks, including the non performance clocks.

I'm going to have to try under-volting the 750ti's, simply because I'm an addict and I love to mess about...  Thanks for the advice...

I recommend you try without undervolting first. Trying OCing. Assess the hashrate. Then go ahead and try undervolting and compare the hashrates. Like that you will contribute to the community Wink

Of course, you always want the full spectrum of results  Wink

Hi All,

ATI farmer here, got 290s, 280x and 270x Toxic's in my farm.  Sold off 7 rigs of 290s and 280x cards, replacing em with 750ti's, just want to touch base and find out the deal is with nvidia mining before I un-box all these lovely new cards?

Had some good success with under-volting and under clocking the AMD cards, do most of you under-volt the 750ti's?

I got each 280x down to 92 watts @ 3.93 Mh/s on x11, 270x down to 63 watts @ 2.7 Mh/s.

Took me a very long time to find stable clock settings and levels for under-volting, is it the same deal with the Nvidia range of cards?

Because they suck less power do most people bother with under-volting?

Until 14.7 came out, there was an inf mod you needed to get 6 AMD cards working in windows, same deal with Nvidia?

Got a nice stack of Giga Black's waiting for me to show them some lovin but I'm going to do my research first

Any help/guides/advice would be much appreciated  Cheesy

Future of mining ?

Currently I believe altcoin mining with programmable hardware doesn't really have a future.

I agree. There are far too many coins.... and I think that only a very few deserve to remain alive.
I wish I knew which ones Smiley

Well...with the States legalizing the MMJ fields...there has to be a coin to use for purchases. Any idea which one to mine for future profits. I'd be interested.

'nuff Said   Grin

Well, with a single 750ti mining at suprnova's CANN pools...I am getting around 30 coins a day. I like that coin a lot and bought quite a few as well on some exhanges.

Thought about CANN, and 420 (trouble setting up for X11), but decided that POT looked better. I'm mining POT and getting 50+/day. Hope I chose right. I'd really like to get this GTX6502G setup to mine the X11 but the damn thing just locks up my system. I've had NO help with it. I guess it's too old for anybody to bother with. Good Luck & Happy Mining with the Ti.

edit: Wait...misunderstood. Which coin is CANN? I thought I'd seen them all but don't know which one that is.

Most of those enterprise cards aren't worth it for mining.
I agree , now Im waiting to see what exactly will be the 800 series of Nvidia. Which exact performance it will bring on what powerconsumption. I expect above 650$ on GTX880, but I hope Im not right with this Smiley
