You only need the toolkit if you want to compile.  Not for normal use.

Thx... but when I try to use it, it says it can't find the drivers;
Regular ccminer works perfectly.

Make sure you are running a version >=340.52 of the nVidia drivers. Latest compiled versions of most miners require it now since the authors are ditching CUDA 5.5.
and it looks like im out cause my windows 8.1 and vista dont like that driver. Cry Cry

and to top it off Richie Lai of Bittex or one of the staff,to the best of my knowledge, locked my account today. With a flip of a switch, so think about it ppl.

340.52 works on my 8.1 machine just fine and also on my Windows 2012 R2 servers (basically windows 8.1 servers).  Lots of other people are also running that driver on Win 8.1 too.

I'd suggest doing a clean removal back to MS VGA driver, rebooting and then installing again.

Carlo

PS Anything going on with your Bittrex account to cause it to get locked?
thank you but i did twice. my computers dont like that driver or the one before it, mining or without mining. Cry

Just picked up a 750 ti, first time mining with an nvidia card. Mining x13 getting around 1950 khs. Just wondering what normal is for the 750 ti.

Hey, do any of the algo's known to date use more than 1 GB of GPU ram? I'm considering buying two 750 1 GB...
I think scrypt_jane is using lots of memory but not much those used at the moment...

Running 750 (non ti) myself. x11 around 2.1-2.2 MHs with some overclocking.

Can you tell us what you get on CryptoNight coins like XMR?

After a couple of months where I couldn't figure out why one of my card didn't perform as well as my other TIs, I discovered it was non-TI card...  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes I did put it on a seperate box after that, and with quite heavy OC I got 230-240 on XMR, with tops at +250. But very stable. I was rather suprised.

**edit: Atleast my card handles OC pretty well on the CN protocol. However, on JPC, for example, OC is much harder on the card and get it stabld, and I end up with 4,5-4,8. I think also it requires more CPU power to stabilize, but I'm not sure.

**edit: I do think it has 2Gb memory.

**edit: Can you get them really cheap, they might be an alternative if you planning to run CN coins. The preformance diff isn't really that big. On the other hand, who knows what XMR turn out to require in the future.

**edit: sorry for all the edits...  Embarrassed

I've ordered two 2gb 750's from gigabyte. Will post hashrates when they're up and running. Got them for 240 eur.

djm for the new qubit optimization what have you change? just qubit luffa? i don't wnat to compile every time, copy-paste is the way  Grin

ah is that thing about doomcoin? forgot that with that qubit is also improved
which one ? which version do you have (one with a final hash routine ?)

i have a different one(slightly different) basically i have a filter with doom.cu and luffa doom(i divided the two), i just need to copy past the new finalhash80(cpu/gpu) and the init, you made in qubit luffa right?
in principle there are also some changes in doom.cu

ICO? Not even once.
I know this has been brought up a few times in the past by others, including myself, but has anyone figured out how to avoid bad shares on DOOM?  I still can't seem to get above 87-88% efficiency.  I even tried a loop taskkill but it doesn't seem to help too much..

Ocminer haven't replied about my request for a stratum port without vardiff so I'm still solomining.

Kinda off topic.

How do I find out my main wallet address for verification purposes?

Not the address I set up for pools for payment.

I am an idiot. Sorry, I thought I was on nvminer 7b but I was on 6c. Any ways updated to driver and all is fine now.

Nice, glad you got it all working!

Weird. I am still running cuda 5.0 with all the old ish files, maybe your running newer?

I just noticed that there is a 340.52 driver. Trying it out now.

Not sure what Cuda I am running. Was using nvminer D7

Looks like we might be getting a PIMP for Cuda very soon. This was just posted by the PIMP team on reddit. This would give us the failover mechanism so many have been begging for.

Very good news for all Nvidia miners on Linux !
