Ok guys so i am stuck with a seriously problem right now.
After just realising i had 0.26btc sitting in my wallet which i forgot about, my mining cards have now paid for themselves.

The problem is i haven't turned them on in over 2 weeks because nothing is profitable to my knowledge.
So what would you guys do? sell the 3 cards for roughly £200 back, and the psu for £80
or keep them and see if anyone is nice enough to start me mining in the right place again?

honestly with work etc. i don't have the time to read like i use to, and i guess i have gotten a little lazy which is why cudamining.cc hasn't had its full recoding yet.
So what would you all do honestly?

Keep going and hope for some nice hints off people or sell up and stop?

I say to keep them and put on a coin and try and stack up.

The 800 series should be out next month. If rumors are true about the 880, 3 times the performance (not sure about mininig) of a 750ti and around $499 msrp, things should be good and only 200 watts.

I hear what everyone is saying about profitability. Just too many coins coming out left and right.

Interesting discussion.

We should be glad having low energy consumtion cards !

If we were still mining on AMD/ATI cards, we would be loosing money...

Apparently , some big AMD farm is willing to sell coins at very low price. Maybe free electricity or some other reason

The PC is on 24/7
After all, it does run cudamining.cc for us as well Wink so its basically just power cost for that which I often don't even think about

Especially after switching 2 PCs over to 750tis and saving 250w of constant load

JPC price is stable and I think it wouldn't go down much further and has upward potential. Mining and keeping the coin to sell later is a good strategy. U can set a sell price of at least x2 of current price. If u want to park your gpu that is a good coin for mine and forget and come back later.

JPC also reduce block reward weekly and has jackpot winning. Therefore , parking your card on jpc is a good bet

JHA being jackpotcoin again right?

Yea sorry about that JHA is the algo and JPC or Jackpot is the coin.

Right now for a 750ti per day:
JPC 0.00054846  or $0.321 USD
XMR 0.00047771 or $0.28 USD

EDIT: Assuming max power draw of 60 watts then that's 1.44KW per day.
plus whatever watts the rest of the computer uses.

So yea, maybe it's not worth mining unless you have a few cards in the computer or leave the computer on like I do since they serve other functions.

But if you don't mind watching there are other coins that can do 0.00123471 or $0.723 USD per day

Are there any cards on the market or others that are coming out soon that are profitable on the same levels as the 750-Ti? Or is it still the best card economy-wise?

UPDATE 2014-08-03: updated new binary file. fixed problem with zero average hashrate.
https://github.com/zelante/ccminer/releases/tag/v2.0.2

I'm getting an error with this: cudart32_65.dll not found - where can I get this file? Surely I don't have to download entire cuda 6.5 sdk?

Honestly, I thinks it's only worth it at the moment if you're constantly on top of things which consumes a lot of time. Otherwise, I think keeping the cards on the same coin or on a multipool for lest's say weeks is just going to pay the electricity at best. You could alternatively pick a coin or two and follow only those and invest in them. But don't invest much as they could easily turn out to be a scam. I'm starting to make more doing very short term investments than mining with several rigs.

While not super profitable it's far from being NOT profitable unless electric is super expensive in your parts.

If you want a coin that you don't have to worry about then either pick XMR or JHA and just mine either.  They flip back and forth as to which one is more profitable.

You can do better if you want to watch and change the coin your mining but you really can't go wrong with the two mentioned.  Either is better then doing nothing.

You only need the toolkit if you want to compile.  Not for normal use.

Does nvMiner requires CUDA Toolkit to be instaled?
Or it works only with regular NVIDIA drivers?

If so, its better to download the 5.5 or 6?

No need to download any SDK. The dll in question can be found for example on the recent unified nvminer releases (see: http://www.cudamining.cc/url/releases). You might also need to update your nvidia driver if using a version number below 340.xx.

Hi guys

I tried to launch the splitscreen version but it says that I'm lacking of cudart 35_65.dll, or something like that.

Could you be so kind to tell me how to download them? Is there a nvidia .dll pack somewhere ? Need I to download some SDK for cuda?

Thanks
