2nd time I see cayars did a typo with djm34's name... could be more? Grin

Yea, I'm a dumb ass, who can't spell. (first time)

2nd time was a play on words of my first goof.  dsm34 happens to be a 22 rifle so I was playing with my goof while shooting wolf in the foot. Smiley

no offense there , you are not a dumb ass  Smiley

Speaking of Christian, he hasn't posted since July 12th.

Anybody heard from him in any way?

Just hoping everything is OK with him.
I know it may sound strange, but some people takes vacations (and with the BBR money he could go really far  Grin)

Already did.

My fault as I should have said:

You could always change that yourself and beat Chris to the punch with a public ccminer release featuring BBR.

Carlo

I could... I could also shoot myself in the foot, or play in traffic Tongue

I'll donate to see that!  Can I pick the "poison"?

I'd like to see the shooting in the foot.  May I suggest using a dsm34 to do it?  Shocked

Hey if you are that board you could always work on BBR  Grin

That has a GPU miner.

Not in CCminer Smiley

Ah.

Another weird problem I am having.

I am trying to solo mine from Rig A to Rig C. I get the json_rpc_call failed error. Now I copy and paste the bat from Rig A to Rig B and then run it. Rig B solo mines to Rig C perfectly. No issue at all.

Is there a setting that might be on Rig B preventing the solo mining. I have my anti virus turned off to eliminate that as an issue.

Changing to cuda 6.5 my hashrate for monero fell from 285h to 278h  Embarrassed. Be aware.

Did you recompile yourself?

What video drivers are you running?
No i downloaded nv miner v1.2U-D7b

Ahh so you switched versions of nvMiner in order to run the updated cuda drivers.

For kicks, go back and run the same version of nvMiner you used for the "1st" test.
7b had a couple of changes to CN to handle memory better for many people.

So make sure you are comparing apples to apples and not to oranges when blaming CUDA Smiley

Nice to read your posts pros! I envy your programming skills  Wink

I got enough of Windows-nothing-having-OS and want to switch to Linux. I plan to use Linux Mint what is your opinion ? Maybe other distro is better for mining ? I cannot use KopiemTu because I am selling my hashing power to NiceHash with my own multialgo script.

I am looking for how-to regarding ccMiner/nvMiner compilation @Linux but cannot find any. Can someone share his experience ?

Thanks in advance.

Why not KopiemTu ? I use a lot of home-made script on this distro, this choise I as legit as a Linux Mint I guess

(I have write my own script to manage my rig : ccminer launcher (stop/start/restart using a conf file), ccminer stats (list for all device installed the fan/temp/hashrate so I can detect dead card), webstatus (using my ccminer stats as input), ccminer watcher (watch if rig is hashing, and if ccminer is running but do not send share, the script restart the ccminer and send me mail with the log, when ccminer is back operational, it send me another mail ... 99% of the time it's a stratum disconnection, but it's usefull because ccminer doesn't have a build-in relaunch procedure, for exemple when the miningrigrental proxy switch and can generate a fatal json_rpc error at the end/start of a rental)

Long story short ... I don't understand why KopiemTu is not a good choice for your own Nicehash multialgo script ? Smiley
