how many doom coins are you guys getting per 750 ti per day?

thanks for all the work on the cc/nv miner project guys

Right now, it's looking to be around 5 coins for my 750Ti on stock settings.

I mentioned this a couple pages back but didn't see a reply, I think the issue you are running into is because you are comparing hashrates from overclocked (stock or by the user) to your 'vanilla' 750Ti's. I have 3x EVGA 750Ti's and the rates I get from them non-OC'd are exactly what you are getting right now. However, raising the TDP and overclocking them to +142 core/+528 mem gets me the hashrates (sometimes a bit better) than what is generally quoted. Stock OC'd cards are in the range of  +100 core out of the box so that explains why some people with "stock cards" are getting better rates than you are.

If anyone is running a stock 750Ti with reference clocks and getting ~2.7MHs on X11 I'd love to see it Smiley

Well I am comparing STOCK to STOCK. Look at the notes of nvminer releases.

If, and only if some stock cards are already OCed it would be a good idea to mention that in order to avoid confusion.

Cayars are your cards Stock OCed?

Then will go on and purchase a better CPU. Any CPU in particular you recommend?
I've got a dual-core Athlon in a similar 990 board, and my 750 Ti still produce slightly less hashrate than the same cards in z87 rigs with dual-core Pentium G3xxx, so you want at least a dual-core Athlon working @ ~3 GHz. If you'll find a cheap Phenom x2 (a lot of them have the 3rd or/and 4th core stable, so they can be unlocked and become a triple-/quad-core), or Athlon x3/x4, that would be even better. I suppose what matters here is that you need to have at least 2 cores and you need something around 3+ GHz (for AMD cpus). Not sure about the cache requirements, so better be safe I guess and look for Phenoms first.

Yea, or just go for it and pickup a couple of 12 core XEONs and be done with it.  Grin

Yeah eventually I could use it for something else afterwards. BTW using the -d flag to run only one card gave me the same hash. No changes there. You still think this is a CPU pb?

I am also getting this once in a while. See video: nvminer goes crazy

OC the card and increase the TDP 38.5w limitation to avoid miner going crazy once in a while.

Thanks for the recommendation. However, I do not want to OC the card. It usually introduces new problems which for now I want to avoid.

Yea, that's telling us you have a corrupted driver install (99% sure of this).

You need to completely remove the nvidia drivers, reboot and check to make sure it comes up with standard windows VGA drivers.

Then re install 340.52 drivers.

You should then be good to go.

PS if you have any anti-virus on trojan detection type software disable it when removing and installing drivers.

Leave turned off until after getting the miner to work.

ok no that didn't work. And I have the exact same problem with my vista computer. I did get to see, with latest driver trying to run older bat file, that the cmd says something like complie bla bla with something 512 not working. in other words, looks like new drivers will not work with old bat files.

You could try running Kopiemtu just to see if it changes things. If it still runs like crap it's hardware related, otherwise you'll probably want to keep looking at your Windows settings, drivers etc.

Check your power settings:

Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings > Power Management Mode
You'll want it to be set for "Prefer Maximum Performance", not "adaptive".

If this doesn't cut it, and even if you don't want to overclock, it's generally better to have the GPUs in locked in the highest boost clock mode - in EVGA PrecisionX for example - this is achieved by setting > Voltage > K-Boost on. Other vendor utilities (Afterburner, etc) might have a different name to this feature, I don't know...

Good Luck!

That didn't solve my problem, tried it at the very first day Sad

maybe, maybe it's the AMD motherboard. If that's the case, I'll have to for some H81 or so.

lol, donation are still voluntary... but clearly if I had to scale the appreciation based on the donation, I would say we are doing a shitty work (might be true though...  Grin anyhow, thanks to those who donate no matter how much they give...)

Yea, I'd be living in a cardboard box out on the street. Smiley  But that's just how it typically is with almost all open-source software (few exceptions) and it's members who help.

That did in fact happen to me once I was coming from a party at 4/5am. No trains, to bus, no nothing. Had to sleep under a cardboard box out the street for a few hours Wink

I could be totally wrong but I always seem to see a pattern with these types of issues.

AMD motherboard or CPU.

Well, I was already complaining that my hashrates are low too. I didn't find any appropriate answer so far. They are also fluctuating, but not always. I thought that playing youtube video in the background can help me stabilize them, sometimes it happened so I thought I've found the solution, but they again start fluctuating.

It is independent of overclock and cpu usage.

My cards are MSI GTX750ti twin frozr, without extra 6 pin pci-e. Motherboard is gigabyte 990FXA-UD3, [email protected] and 4 GB ram (tried with 8 gigs too, no help). Cards are in x16 and x8 slots, with no risers/

My X11 rates won't go over 2MH/s, now they are 1.6... and still fluctuating. On Cryptonight algo I get around 215H/s, no matter how much I OC, I can't get past 245H/s, also, when CCminer/NVminer shows total HR for both cards, I get like 350 H/s, then 450, then 400, and so on. I'm completely clueless for more than 2 months, but my previous questions remain unanswered. So I'm asking again. Does anyone have similar problem?

Thanks Cayars and FortuneNVirtue,

Seems you guys agreed on the problem. I will do as advised. Will start by leaning down through BIOS see how that goes. Then will go on and purchase a better CPU. Any CPU in particular you recommend?

I've also tried running nvminer on only 1 card with the -d option as recommended but I get the same hashrate as before. No improvement.

Here goes the screenshots anyways for the posterity:
