that's mostly the reason I don't use it anymore (and have trouble with github, since I have to change it back before putting my stuff on github)

I've been reading some of your experiences with github and it doesn't sound like to much fun.
Yeah, I secretly lolled when I saw your endless flow of github fixing commits, djm Cheesy

I am running the 6.0 CUDA version and here are a few updates for 2 algo's I am running. These both have 5 750ti's on each maching with 340.43 driver. Both machines have cards at factory overclock.

Whirl Coin: previous on the first D6b nvminer was getting about 21,100 kh/s now at 21,550
X13 Coin (W8 Coin): previous on djm34 c54 was getting about 9,720 kh/s now at 9,890-9,910 kh/s

EDIT: For some reason still having reject issues on Whirl Coin at Dwarf Pool. My accepted rate is 807/1201 for 67.19%
Went back on djm version of Whirl Coin. Accepted rate is better but also they come a lot faster. After a few minutes already over 807 accepted shares where as the D6b version took about 40-45 minutes to get that many.

Going to have a "c" version put up shortly that should hopefully fix your whilrlcoin issue and speed it up even more then it is.

6.5 Cuda version is done and I'm just waiting for the 5.5 Cuda version to compile.

Carlo

EDIT the CUDA 5.5 compiler is like the freaking Energizer Bunny.  It just keeps going and going and going....

do i need to install cuda 6.0 in order to use nvminer65 ? For nvminer55 my rig doesn't have any cuda installed but able to use.

when i run nvminer65 it says unable to query number of cuda devices

but when i run nvminer55 its running perfectly.

I am using 750ti

Let antonio8 or djm34 comfirm this.
But I think you just have to update driver to 340.43 or 340.46.

Where can i get that version ? I only see 337.8 on official website

http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/76513/en-us
Here's for 340.43 beta
but 340.46, you may need to google it.
340.43 might work actually

it worked ! However i got some weird message showing on nvminer screen. It run for a while about 30 sec or so than it start to display the normal hashrate message. I close miner and run again those weird message did not appear.

If you look at earlier pages when djm posted his whirlcoin ccminer binary (it was in 6.5cuda) he posted somewhere there the 340.46 drivers...you can find them also in the guru3d forums with a little searching

Also found a problem in Keccak not running at full speed which is fixed.

I'm doing a rebuild on 5.5 and when complete I'll get it uploaded.

This build is going to have both nvMiner55.exe and nvMiner65.exe in the zip file with proper support dll.

I'd suggest upgrading to the latest nVidia drivers and running the nvMiner65.exe as it has been running a bit faster.

You can leave it as nvMiner65.exe or rename to nvMiner.exe if you have batch files already setup.

Carlo

PS just a heads up in case you want to check your version of drivers.  I currently run the latest greatest (including betas)

BTW, give a thanks to MrSatann who has been testing this with me on IRC.

v1.2U-D6b is posted at http://www.cudamining.cc/url/releases

Remember it contains both 5.5 and 6.0 CUDA versions so watch the file names.

It's possible.  I'll take a look at it but to be honest I have another coin in mind that might come first.

I actually had all of CudaMiner about 90% included (just debugging) and pretty much everyone said not to bother as really none of the algos was really worth mining and we already had them in CudaMiner.

Carlo, Quick question any chance of adding Script-n to NVminer. At factor 14 for CACHcoin the hash rate is a dog, I was wondering if any optimization could be do to it.

should work now.
The line containing the definition of haval and sha512 was removed by mistake from the makefile when I edited the makefile to put keccak... (not sure how, might I have removed 2 lines instead of one by mistake... difficult to spot that one)

done... now at some point you might want to check what could be wrong in the makefile between the last working x17 version and this one...
I am really getting tired of github crap...
