I have been trying to compile the x15 miner on Linux and it takes forever. Been over 1.5hrs now.

I saw in other posts that compiles were taking 2+ hours. Hang in there.

So I have finally got my first mining rig built using 4 X 750ti from Gigabyte. I am testing with Jackpot Coin to see what is what. Can some of you give me what you get for hashrates. I am currently getting 20.6 - 21.7 mh/s total or 5.15-5.43 mh/s per card.

Must say for a noob this is pretty sweet. Time for a beer!

A few posts before I mentioned my rates for a rig same as yours.

I'm getting 5.1~5.3 per card.

Can ccminer mine boolberry?  If so, is anyone doing that? Is it profitable?

Its all about the Gold
So I am trying out my new 750ti for the first time and I can't get ccminer to work.

Error message "Unable to query CUDA driver version! Is an nVidia driver installed?"

Have been using the newest nvidia drivers and cuda 6. Also installed the visual C++ for windows 64 bit. I am at a loss now, tried different ccminer version as well.

if i remember right , it doesn't work with cuda 6 yet. It is listed here for more information:

Hi folks,

I've been mining with a single 750ti for 4 months and today, finally, I finished my rig with 4 750's (2 more coming next 2 months).

I read somewhere that using 1 instance of ccminer for each 2 cards is better than 1 for all of them. Is that right?

Thanks in advance...  Wink

I'm sure that was for HeavyCoin. Anyway, I mine 5 cards in one instance with no troubles.

Thanks for the answer.

I've made some fast tests and didn't notice any relevant difference from one to several ccminer instances.

Now mining JPC with all 4 cards in one instance and getting the same average rate per card as when I had only 1 750 (around 5.1~5.3 per card).

A manager for ccMiner that gives failover support amongst other things.

It's only been tested on my rig, and works well for me. Whether it works for you is another story!

Please let me know if it's of any use, either in this thread or the CDUK thread.

Cheers.

Thank you! Clever approach to use temp. Does it autoswitch/check back to primary pool periodically, in case it comes back up?

Yes. It uses a session system, which is set by default to 3600 seconds. This means ccMiner is restarted every hour, so if it fails over it will mine on the secondary pool for one hour and on reset will go back to the primary pool... and if primary pool is still down, rinse and repeat.

You can change the session length in the config.

x15c is more profitable, about 0.002 with one 750ti, and the price has more chance to rise

Wish I would have saw this sooner! I finished my build and this fucking thing will not power up! It is DOA. I bought my rig in stages and the PSU was one of my first buys. I stored it in my computer room and never opened it until yesterday. Because I waited for more than 30 days Newegg gave me a big FU to my PSU. Now I have to deal with Corsair directly. I do not want a Corsair PSU because they are inferior but I doubt that I can get my money back.

Another fuckup to this is that I have to remove all of the connectors. That is what takes the most time in building a rig and I have to send all of that shit back. I may just go buy another brand-name and chalk it up to experience.

Maybe Corsair will give me a couple of sticks of RAM instead?

So I would like to follow up on this. I contacted Corsair and used their expedited shipping. They sent a replacement unit and it works fine. The RAM option was not available. I ordered it Monday and it came today. They allowed me to keep all wiring as I did not want to take the cables all out and start again. So I can vouch for Corsair that they do offer excellent customer support.

Now I am getting ready to mine....

For 750 what's the coin?
The profit calc says that is cachecoin and jackpotcoin who are leading with ~1$/card/day (but in fact take only 80% of that with diff fluctuation)

I sell 7 ATI 7950 card, and now I run 12 750.
A friend of mine sell 9 R9 280x to buy 12 750.

750 = cheap = low consumption = low heat = stable = low maintenance on rig.

With my ATI, I was tweaking dozen of params, OC and undervolt, having SICK/DEAD card every 4-5days.
My Nvidia rig is far more stable. I just checked ... 13 days uptime with 24/24 ccminer running, never freeze or crash Smiley

The Nvidia community is smaller, but we have the tools to compete with AMD miners Smiley
what will you do with your pile of 750ti, when the 880 will be out ? (1x 880 = 5x 750ti tbc)
selling them and buying others Smiley
I bought 7950 @270$, selling @185$, but my ROI was ok thanks to Dogecoin and Darkcoin.
The loss is 85$ and each sold card permit me to buy a 750ti.
My 750ti, I have bought it @185$ + Watchdog (sell @20$, so card is 165$)
Even if I will sell them @80$ in 4 months to change the cards, It will be totally worth it Smiley
