Peculiar... I updated to the beta 340.17 drivers, and when running ccminer, it decided to compile several functions for sm_50, while running! Then it went into mining as normal...

Christian,

Any chance now that the CryptoNight coins are only the 4th most profitable algo to mine on 750tis you'd NOW consider doing an official CN release?
Carlo

we're also having trouble with XMR profitability at the moment, but BBR is still OK...

BBR GPU mining code will be made public if there is a solid stratum layer available to work with.
also I heard dga is working on some BBR GPU miner as well (he announced it in the BBR thread)

Christian

Only a little.

I hope to not have to do it because there will be awesome stratum stuff available and I'll be able to use yours. Smiley  I'd hate to spend time on it and then within three days see that you released one that's actually stable and 30000x faster.  And BBR would benefit from stratum.

(As a reminder, I'd encourage people who want to mine BBR on nvidia to donate to a mix of the stratum & GPU bounty threads linked from the BBR page.)

I think you guys should have a knock down, drag out BBR GPU mining contest to see who can open source the fastest nVidia miner.  Grin

Kidding aside, thanks for all your contributions dga!

I installed the last nvidia driver and ccminer x15 still not working on my GTX690

Works for me. Getting around 5500 khash/s with a pair of GTX690's. I'm using an old driver though. GPU utilization fluctuates between 70% and 99%.

What is your command line?

 Cool

Getting about 3100-3150 kh/s on the x15 miner on my 780 Ti Classified from the binary linked earlier ( https://mega.co.nz/#!8AMnjSiL!ksUru2G5fOYTeDPvL-hwStr_utlUnC-ST0hvUFHensE ). Pretty solid.

I understand its a beta, no one else is doing anything better, I think you took my comment the wrong way. I was just pointing out that it was not yet reliable , I in no way intended it to be a insult or dump on it. It is only as reliable as the input from the sources you are getting the info from. Sorry if it upset you, you do good work and what you do is not easy, I thank you for you contributions... peace..

I managed to get Djm's x15 compiled last night just before firecoin launched. I got a few coins but it just doesn't seem worth it. X15 burns more power and runs hotter than x11.  Great effort by djm34 tho!

Have you been able to use the binary I posted yesterday ?

can you try this one: https://mega.co.nz/#!oBUj0QwY!ufQOWYLOH8cNoguUOvYl_M6ubhudh7QIFcxKwKzWtBk (ccminer_512.exe it is a test version, but there isn't any change, except for the number of threads in whirlpool...)

Same problem  Cool

Yea, I follow the BBR thread even though I don't mine it.  It was only a matter of time before dga committed to doing a gpu miner (without stratum).

How about keeping BBR to yourself as it's still ok for you and profitable.
BUT releasing your CN algos as part of an official ccminer release?

Otherwise you'll end up releasing BBR when there is a stratum release and you will have lost the edge.  You'll then be back to "struggling" with XMR or just mining something more profitable like the rest of us.

To be honest, I'm mostly interested is seeing the differences in code between your implementation and tsiv's.  <-- that's my story and I'm sticking to it.  Grin

anywhere there are a xpm dev around a coin the profitability goes down... (someone should teach him about trading... against a small %age fee  Grin)

I installed the last nvidia driver and ccminer x15 still not working on my GTX690
What was the latest release which worked for you ?

ccminer v1.2
that's strange, it is made from v1.2 (the latest one), at least x13 should work... (as there is no change outside x15 )
Can you check x13 work on v1.2 ?

maybe you built the unofficial release against CUDA 6.0 which up's the minimum driver version requirement
I don't have cuda 6.0... may-be Amph did it  Grin (yeah... 20min was really too fast)

5.5 here  Grin

but yes i've installed 6.0 but then i removed it, was before the compiling though...

Actually the unofficial ccminer release hardly put any dent in the diff on XMR.  Diff is far more influenced by Wolf and Claymore releases as that's where all the mining hardware is for CN coins.

Just asking as times are a changing,
