Any profitable coins to mine atm?
I miss JPC era.

please don't reference known scammer here..

Known how? Nothing in his trust.

LOL, like BTCTalk trust means anything.

So how is he a known scammer? You have to be able to prove such allegations.

First of all, it's dead obvious - he has "Pumper" in his name - do you know what a pump and dump is? Hint: They're illegal on regulated markets, and for a reason.

Then there's his whole taking BTC for "coin tips" thing...

Pump and dump is not illegal in the crypto world.
Shocked for that matter, there is nothing illegal in crypto and on a more general point of view, nothing is illegal if you don't get caught ...  Roll Eyes
so that's probably the most stupid comment I ever read...
and by the way http://www.coindesk.com/florida-group-faces-fraud-charges-alleged-altcoin-pump-dump/

Hardly stupid and your response is condescending. You posted a link that defeats your argument and supports mine. The headline is sensationalist and is bullshit because it is not supported by the indictment. Read it. They are not being charged for a pump and dump. They are being charged for fraud. I
Because pump and dump IS a fraud. (but yes they are probably charged for not delivering their product...)
Speaking of legality, is irrelevant because altcoin isn't yet a mainstream phenomena and only a bunch of people are dealing with this.
This is exactly the same as a new synthetic drug, it "isn't illegal" (so to speak) as long as it remains unnoticed, once it has been noticed it becomes automatically illegal, because it was totally illegal in the first place.

And again cudaminer/ccminer thread isn't the place to discuss that.

Pump and dump is not illegal in the crypto world. Someday maybe but for now nothing illegal about it. And that is the strategy. Gang stalk a coin, pump it up and then sell it off. Maybe unethical but it runs rampant in most coins.

And you do realize that he'll wait until he gets enough followers to cause a price rise by getting them to buy, then dump all over them? If murder of the disabled was legal in some country, would it be totally cool by you, too?

You compare pump and dump to murder? That is quite a stretch their dude. Your argument is just plain dumb. Stick to programming. Caveat emptor!

I stand by my my claim that pump and dump in the crypto world is legal (for now). All of us, including you, have promoted coins to others. Unless you fully disclosed your holdings then you are a pumper. I have no idea if you were a dumper, but I suspect that you have been. I suspect that most of us have been.

Lyra is still very profitable if you have a miner that is 5 times faster than the opensource miner ..

Happy Hashing;)

why not: 10 times faster ?

This one should work:
__inline__ __device__ uint2 ROL2(const uint2 v, const int n) {
      uint2 result;
      if (n <= 32) {
         result.y = ((v.y << (n)) | (v.x >> (32 - n)));
         result.x = ((v.x << (n)) | (v.y >> (32 - n)));
      }
      else {
         result.y = ((v.x << (n - 32)) | (v.y >> (64 - n)));
         result.x = ((v.y << (n - 32)) | (v.x >> (64 - n)));
      }
      return result;
   }
there is a way to do it without a condition statement, but haven't looked into it yet

This one looks bether.

The conditional statement will be removed by the compiler when n is a constant.

I think the uint2 implementations will be faster on compute 3.0 devices as well. Less register spills. Will test on my GTX 650 later today.
