As I said before, I'm taking part of the few lines of code for my profit switcher and I am making an easy profit calc app with it, using different api's etc.
But I'll be using the non-OC hashrates of a GTX750TI, with the latest ccminer, as default values.
Do these seem OK? I have an EVGA SC and Gigabyte 750ti, and I took 10 following accepts of them running in the same ccminer, and used that to calc the average for one 750ti. Rounded to 1 digit, except for scrypt Tongue X13 is still with the mod from tsiv, so no killergroestl.

...it seems the "mine start" & "monitor" command does not work anymore with the new ccminer.
jk_14 gave the hint we should re-use the old util.c because he modified it. but that doesn't help.

buuuut - if you compile it the right way you could start it via command right out of the dir were the new ccminer is located:
screen (you need this if you logged in via ssh, and like to close the console afterwards)
cd /opt/miners/ccminer (location of the new miner)
./ccminer -a algo -o stratum+tcp://pool -u x -p x

make sure you stopped the monitor & the kopiemtu mining command (mine stop / monitor stop) before.

edit. one little hint.
the previous ccminer was located ccminer-2014-05-20.
the dir "ccminer" is/was only a softlink. you could check it with "ls -l /opt/miners/ccminer" and see were it points to.
you could download (our just move) the new miner into "ccminer-2014-06-13" and make a softlink with this command "ln -s /opt/miners/ccminer-2014-06-13 /opt/miners/ccminer". before you have to delete the old "ccminer" softlink.

Thanks a ton PVmining... this info helps a ton.

Even just using vi and Pico again (which I probably haven't done since working on the university systems 20 years ago...) is kind of funny to me.

It's funny how much comes back even after all this time, but I still needed to google some stupid easy commands like 'mv'.

So help me out a little with what happens with the commands that you gave me to compile the code from github....

I clone the code to the ccminer dir and go through the make process?

Or should I be doing that to a ccminer-[date] directory like I see there already and then update the soft pointer in the ccminer folder?

Clearly I probably hosed it all up when I moved it all to a date folder... just re-imaged my USBdrive and will give it another go later tonight, even if I have to start it up manually.

Thanks again.

Hi folks,

I've been mining x11 at NiceHash for some time with the previous version of ccminer.
Now, with this new "killer" one, what's the best option: Talkcoin, Groestlcoin, still x11...?

Thanks in advance...  Wink

Hi Raven.

I recommend you jackpotcoin or talkcoin. I might try supercoin also but diff is insane right now. Groestl and securecoin is also an option with new ccminer release.

Hi, thx for the info. I'll check JPC.

With a single GTX 750 Ti on a non-powered riser I'm getting:
- x11 (Nicehash): 2.6MHs
- Quark (pool): 4.4MHs
- Groestl (pool): 7.6MHs
- Jackpot (pool): 5.5MHs

Power consumption varies from 85W to 92W.
x11 is the one with less consumption figure.

EDIT: How many JPCs one GTX750Ti can make a day?
Currently at minep.it mining now 12h, got 11.000 jpc per 750ti(+150gpu+150mem,non-powered riser on Asrock H81pro btc) at 5.8mhs/s so you should expect around 22.000/24h, maybe more at current diff.

Really? I calculate like 9-10k based on current stats.  I just found a block for the pool.  Was looking at switching coins for a bit since this difficulty is ridiculous, but I think I'll just wait it out until after the weekend.

Nice... thx.

I'm at +135gpu + "zero"mem (I think there's no difference here) getting around 5.3~5.5MHs. This algo varies a lot.

I started at http://jackpotcoin.miningpoolhub.com/, but they are not finding blocks frequently, even with a high pool hashrate.
Now I moved to http://jpc.hashatme.com/ with better results.

my jpc wallet is messed up too. had to use my backup wallet.dat  and now it don't show new transactions.

yeh thats what mine is doing

I had that happen on a coin that had super low hashrate before. I must have forked it or something.  Don't think that happened with JPC to my knowledge, but if did you save your private keys?  Maybe try reimporting them manually?
wallet is functional. send and receive no problem, but only shows old transactions from back in may. i guess when i saved the backup file.

Submitted updated hashrates for my 780 Ti Classy to cudamining.cc for ccminer v1.1 - 6200 kh/s on x11, 18000 kh/s on NIST5, and 12000 kh/s on jackpot (up from 5700 kh/s, 14000 kh/s, and 10000 kh/s respectively on v1.0).

Jackpot is a little harder now. I was earning about £20 a day a few days ago. Now i havent found a block for 2 days.

Yet strangely my wallet doesnt show any transactions since the 30th last month lol

Yeah, solo mining (any coin) can be mildly disconcerting for those that are used to a nice stream of payouts from pool and p2pool mining. About a week ago I had two 750ti on solo and after 10hrs I got two blocks in a row in the space of one hour. For the next 24hrs I got nothing and so I decided to go back to pool mining Cheesy

I know people always say it usually averages out over longer periods of time but I always feel like it's just wasted electricity when I don't see anything coming in.

Ive only ever solo mined jackpot so im use to waiting between blocks. 2 blocks a month pays my pcs electric so more is just bonus
whats the current block reward?

someone is trying to sell 43 BTC worth of BBR on poloniex... and it's not us!   That depth chart looks funky.
https://www.poloniex.com/exchange/btc_bbr

You could basejump off that sell wall... and not pull your parachute for 40 seconds, er... BTCs

Christian

LOL he maybe has access to super GPU-miner like you, of course for AMD. That scares anyone who one to buy BBR now. Too much greed -> stupidity.

could be a huge botnet farm

Maybe someone wants some cheap BBR before it goes boom? Wink

...and the sell order's gone Wink

at 0.00095 these weren't cheap.  Someone has > 45000 BBR in his wallet.
And  only about 336657 coins have been mined so far.

So that sell order was for 13.3% of all BBR coins in existence !!!

Christian

still there, try to scare investors to buy cheap maybe...

Must have been the dev and his premine...does it have one? (hidden premines are commonplace)

Its doing it for most clock settings and defaults. I have 32 bit windows 8. Should I be running 8.1? Or maybe just reinstall windows and see if that fixes it?

You likely need to lower your OC's a tiny bit. As the new version makes more aggressive use of the GPU resources, it will consume a little more electricity, heat up a little more, 'crash' a little more. See if an overclock reduction get's that error to go away and let us know.

Cheers,
