Feature request for ccminer:
Be friendly to Folding@home
If I start mining with ccminer, closing the miner has 50% chance of Folding client reporting failure:

Would anyone have optimized settings for scrypt:jane at nfactor 13 for the 750ti? I had a very decent 25Kh/s at nfactor 12, but CACH just bumped to 13 now, and I'm only managing ~8Kh/s per card with the best settings I've found so far. Autotune crashes for me every time and I don't think I'm doing enough  Grin

Thanks guys!

The price is really good though if you have coins to sell.

too high for a botnetcoin, not hating but, is just the true

it will fall hard for sure at some point, because of this

I agree. i am just taking profits though whenever and where ever I can.

Not necessarily. Found 6 blocks with 5 cores on [email protected] and 2 blocks with Celeron G1610 Wink

Over how long a period of time and also, was it recently or at launch with low difficulty?

For the FX, found all those in 5 1/2 hrs timeframe : on 29th of May, 9h GMT+1 till 14:30 GMT+1.
As for the celly, found those in 2 days time, one on 29th and second on 30th of May.

Funny how I didn't find any more blocks with FX, I had a lucky streak I guess.

I've also noticed that using more than 4 cores on FX, maybe 5 at max, lowers my CC miner hashrate significantly, which is not the case when mining Monero.

right now it is just some sort of private coin. such coin shouldn't be released without pool support.

I have been thinking to that coin, but it will crash when people start to realise how it is mined.
(I can't believe that people are even buying in it... )

@C&C

I know you guys are busy but here is a "cpu only" coin who's price is really high. The coin is interesting concept but really hard to mine without a botnet or farm. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-slimcoin-proof-of-burn-new-block-gen-mineable-by-low-power-computer-613213

anyhow, I turned off for now cpu mining. cryptonote are kind of bad for everything  Grin
* gpu's
* network: that crap is sucking out all the bandwidth, I can't download anything while it is running and had problem with even browsing
They really need to correct a few things if they really want to go mainstream

I think that goes for any CPU coin.  Tongue  Some of them make it impossible to even run any application in the background,even if I leave one thread free,and it's not like they're that profitable either with one or two CPU's,unless you own a botnet,ofc.

on launch, it is possible to get some (assuming they get somewhere).

Anyone running groestlcoin with ccminer?  I was wondering if it slows your machine down to a crawl? Using a 750ti
Posted from Bitcointa.lk - #REQQkZzc9nHwXytS

Yes it does. It's the worst from all the algo's.
groestl runs fine from sgminer -same speed, but no hiccups... until killer-groestl comes
I have no problem with groestl or myr-groestl with ccminer.
The only problem I have is when I try to cpu mine, I can't use more than 4 threads (over 8 ). If I use more the gpu usage of both the 750ti and the 780ti decrease.

If you want to mine CPU coins as well,leave one thread free for the GPU mining process. That is more than enough,but if you use all of your threads,both processes will suffer a reduction in speed,especially the GPU process.
As I said I have to leave 4 threads otherwise it doesn't work properly for 3 gpus (however I would tend to say 2 as sgminer isn't affected)

Ah right,my bad. I thought there was just one GPU in question. Of course more GPU's,more threads that need to be left free for them.
