Is it just me or does each new x11 coin launch get worse and worse?

Sorry for going off topic.
As long as everybody will continue to act as it was normal, it will continue this way.
(may-be I should launch my X11 coin, with 10% premine some people will say it is a shitcoin, but since nobody care,
it would hit an exchange  Grin)

I have already a name NoOneCaresItsX11coin (NOCIX)

You mean something like this? https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/pre-annbs-bitslap-pow-x11-delayed-again-lmao-622985

I'd guess the devs are all of 12 years old.

So I did a little benchmark on my GTX750TI, and captured the power and frontbus usage for different algo's:

(From left to right, top to bottom)
X11 (Mining on blackcoinpool.com): Algo uses keccak, blake, bmw, groestl, jh, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd & echo.
Quark: Algo uses blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak & skein. It should've been called "X6" Tongue
MNR (same for HVC): Algo is called HEFTY1 and uses sha256, keccak, groestl & blake.
JPC: Algo uses keccak, blake, groestl, jh & skein.
TAC: Algo also uses keccak, blake, groestl, jh & skein, but in a different way ^^ They call it NIST5 Wink
Keccak : Keccak at its simplest, mining using cudaminer instead of ccminer.
Groestl: Groestl Tongue
Fugue: Fugue Tongue
Scrypt: Using cudaminer, no explanation needed Smiley

I'm also unable to compile a working blake-cudaminer. The cudaminer from cryptomining-blog doesn't work either.
No shares being submitted, no power being drawn, cpu clock is only half boosted, etc... Anyone made it work?

It sure seems like it.  Although it gets me a few extra JPC while miners head over to the new launches Smiley

06/19/11 17:51 Bought BTC 259684.77 for 0.0101
750tis are a no brainer to buy if you want to mine - with the current free-2-play bundle from nvidia a 750ti costs ~95€ and you can even sell it right now for 120€+. You will be able to sell the card with profits after months of mining.

what version?

I think all of them Tongue http://www.geforce.com/spring2014-free-to-play-bundle

I have 4 X 150$ in game thingies for sale !

Make me an offer !  Smiley

Check the sub reddits for those games. You'll probably actually be able to sell them there :p

Question, when you guys are mining x11 or say JC, with your 750ti's  what causes them to cycle power up and down so much, if you look at % of power its like a see-saw. Are my setting wrong or do you see this also?
Posted from Bitcointa.lk - #us9JZPWZqZBLReyi
Yep, it's normal Wink I still guess it's because the continous chaining of different algo's that X11 and JPC do. Christian, can you confirm this? Tongue

I love and i want new ccminer for 750ti for mining x11 at 2.8 mh/s Cheesy .

Not going to happen

So you think C² won't release it?
They're making us wait though Tongue

They will release it but the more people ask, it wont speed it up

Haha, yes,it is not in personal interest to release faster miners till the devs themselves have given it a good run to recuperate their costs.
with this sort of comment, you added 2 weeks  Grin
That would be true if the faster sgminer had not already been released. Now that the AMD cards have the upper hand once again,it's up to the C&C Hashfactory to restore balance as soon as possible.

The faster sgminer is pretty unstable, I wanted to try it on anonymouscoin, it crashed the driver...
(ok now it is doing 3.9MHash/s with a 290x while the 780ti does 5.4MHash/s)

you guys with that 2.8 boost, you really want amd to die, shame on you, leave amd in peace Grin

when x13 + 2.8MH/s boost for nvidia will be available, amd will be forgotten
Most people who are still buying mining equipment, buy Nvidia already Wink You can shamelessly buy a Geforce gtx750ti and put it into a free x16 slot. Many people don't use the x16 slot on their Asrock mobo's, so it's a nice buy.

Why would somebody not use the x16 slot?

the problem of 750ti is that high-end 28nm maxwell are coming in 3-4 months, and this put me on the fence...

high-end maxwell should be 2.5-3 x faster, no-brainer for density

I don't mind having a redundant 750ti or two. It's giving me a lot of fun NOW, and I can easily resell it or put it into an older PC to upgrade it.
Mining is a lot about fun, but...
