New to this coin... Smiley  I read a bit the forum here...

Are the devs active, how is the community and any news soon ?

Thx

We (the CV2 Development and Improvement Team) have very big plans for the next upcoming weeks.
The first step is a new ANN for new investors (will be finished next week).
Besides we are developing a new UPGRADE for CV2 (including Masternodes, DarkSend)
Our Plan is to get listed on Bittrex Exchange in the near future.

best wishes
Sudo23

Rework your website.  First impression without looking at content makes this feel like an MLM or illegitimate operation. Still love the future of the project and I'm invested just think the website could use lots of polish and this is an easy fix. good luck on the project!!!

Maybe a fed.
CV2 is on the verge of doing great things. Masternodes and a new tech called darksend are coming very soon.

I'm not sure about Bittrex, but apparently the devs have been having productive conversations with them. Obviously, the immediate future of this coin is very bright. Volume has been steadily increasing for a reason.

I just created a new slack group for CV2 as well. Anyone is welcome to join. We are still on the ground floor and a strong community will help take this coin very far. 100 sats in the near future should be the aim of our new floor before we get onto Bittrex. At 1 sat and with the incoming developments, this coin is an absolute steal.

I recently created a new slack group. Here is the slack link: https://colossus2.slack.com/signup

I strongly encourage all of the devs to join too. This coin has amazing potential. We are going to establish an amazing community. I encourage everyone to sign up.

Look forward to see you all.  Grin

Darksend isn't new tech, its new to the coin though.

I have a feeling this coin will have a good future. I just invested more into it Smiley Glad to see the developers are working hard on new features and are coming out with Masternodes. The developers are also working on getting this coin on Bittrex it seems. Nice. I love to see developers who are working hard.

I'm investigating Crypto Projects
I got the Collosus QT to connect to the network but I'm 854 days behind is there a blockchain snapshot like with other coins so I can catch up faster?

Thanks!
Did you try using the CryptoChainer.com service and download the blockchain from it? http://cryptochainer.com/dir/

    Download ClossusCoin2 as normal, probably not necessary if you have it installed already.  Might as well leave it closed for right now.
    Click start, type %appdata% and hit enter.
    Open the ClossusCoin2 folder.
    Create a new file called ColossusCoin2.conf. Open up notepad and paste this:

ColossusCoin2.conf
Code:
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=*yourusername*
rpcpassword=*yourpassword*
rpcport=43521
port=43522
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=185.128.41.157:51008
addnode=68.3.214.176:60669
addnode=81.169.251.126:63079
addnode=88.99.248.15:59066
addnode=184.164.129.202:64216
addnode=76.169.57.92:55221
addnode=146.198.138.34:52890
addnode=217.175.119.125:60938
addnode=192.52.167.120:41387
addnode=68.195.131.246:43522
addnode=51.254.45.117:43556
addnode=89.13.174.130:57264
addnode=89.228.20.248:55493
addnode=173.228.104.196:63784
addnode=104.237.4.26:51914
addnode=60.54.37.34:49648
addnode=173.212.196.182:33476
addnode=113.248.159.159:2642
addnode=113.248.159.159:2419

and save the file, be sure to change notepad's save output to 'all file types' and have litecoin.conf entered there.  ColossusCoin2.conf.txt will not work!  Also, I would recommend using notepad++ anyway.

Regards
Tom

ColossusCoin2.0 is warming up! can annybody help me with synching the wallet? it looks like it won't synch

Did you try using the CryptoChainer.com service and download the blockchain from it? http://cryptochainer.com/dir/

Instructions:
http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=154
Instructions for using blockchains (and bootstraps)

- PLEASE use ONLY wallets from original posts, or the coin’s website itself.  Avoid “updates” in forum threads, as they could potentially contain malware.
- Download .zip file of desired blockchain
- Copy .zip file to the coin’s folder, located in /Users/USER/AppData/Roaming (Windows) or ~/Library/Application Support (OS X)
- Create backup of wallet.dat (this is your actual wallet)
- Delete all files & folders, except for wallet.dat.  If this is a new & empty wallet, remove wallet.dat also
-  Unzip the .zip file directly into the folder (if using WinRAR, choose extract here)
- Launch wallet application
- If original wallet was moved, quit wallet application, copy wallet.dat to data folder, and launch wallet
- Always make backups of your wallet.dat files, especially if they contain coins
- Encrypt your wallets with a strong passphrase, and do not lose that passphrase!

For bootstraps:
- Remove everything from the folder, except wallet.dat (also create a backup)
- Extract bootstrap.dat to the data folder (all bootstraps are named bootstrap.dat, so be sure you’re using the correct one)
- Launch the wallet, and wait for it to import the blocks (will take some time)
- Do not attempt to access the wallet, or click the splash screen, as some wallets will crash
- To monitor the progress, look in the coins’ data folder, and watch the blk0001.dat (or similar) increase in size.  When it approaches the file size of the bootstrap.dat, you’ll know it’s almost complete

I got the config and all that it's just taking forever so I need:
