An Impressive Purely Anonymous Currency.
We need to list deeponion on a bigger and better exchange. Nova is ok but they are not enough for such a good project like deeponion. More exchanges means visibility and more people will join the project. Bittrex is bit hard I guess, cryptopia, poloniex and binance should be the possible options as of now.

As crypto-rainbow mentioned. I also strongly believe building a strong community and working hard to make sure DeepOnion succeeds is the most important step at this time. We will get to more exchanges soon. Together as a community we can make DeepOnion even stronger!

If there are low chances to add deeponion now on bittrex because of their strict rules.
Then will be good to try to take onions on cryptopia, very stable and working without error.

Cryptopia has raised their listing fee by 1250% in the last 60 days. Used to be 400k DOT, it is now 5m DOT. Unreal price hike.

Damn 1250% more is so high, bad notice it is stable and good volume exchange.
Yesterday i was not very present online, i have seen airdrop rules are changed in few pages ago? We need also some posts on official forum now?
Thanks

You just need to be registered for the DO forums at this point, but I would encourage you to start being active there as well now. Requirements for future airdrops could change  Wink

I'm almost done with the DeepOnion website design concept.  It is taking longer than expected because I made several videos for DeepOnion, as well as some articles. I will have the sample completed in a few days, and I can't wait to show everyone the concept design.  Smiley

You will have to register at the official DO forums (even legacy accounts, previously the rule only applied for new joiners). But there are no requirements for posting, other than on bitcointalk

We work for your comfort. Of course we are interested in always better exchanges. The thing we have been going through so many things at the same time our priorities balanced that way. We work on DeepVault and some community projects. While airdrop continuing we have great chance to create stronger community. (One for all all for one type).  We will get that point eventually.

DeepOnion - Advancing Privacy and Security
So what is DeepVault? Quite simply, DeepVault is an information store that is held within the blockchain meaning that the data is immutable, forever! More specifically, DeepVault allows Onion members to store file validation credentials (hashes of files) within the blockchain. This has obvious benefits as it allows users to verify a file's integrity over time. Therefore, if the hash of the file changes, then the file has been altered or corrupted. This tool will be invaluable in checking whether your important documents are secure and have not been tampered with. Legal documents are an obvious use for this feature as it would enable a person to verify that the document, and thus content, has not been altered either maliciously, erroneously or through file corruption.

This is a very interesting development and I look forward to more information about it!

I wonder how large a file can be stored on the chain??

As described, DeepVault will store hashes of files on the blockchain, not the files themselves. Hash functions take an input of arbitrary size and turns them into the outputs of the same size. Cryptographic hash functions have one important characteristic: if you change your input even a little bit, the output changes entirely in the way that's impossible to predict. Use case looks like this:
  • take a document of arbitrary size
  • compute its hash
  • record the hash on the blockchain (for example by using transaction with OP_RETURN locking script)
When you want to find out whether someone has tampered with your document, you just compute its hash again and compare it to the hash value stored on the blockchain. If both hash values are the same, you can safely assume, that the document has not changed even a tiny bit since its original hash value was recorded on blockchain. If current hash value differs from the hash value recorded on the blockchain, you're document has been modified in some way.
Thanks for clear description.
Are you interested in DeepOnion future developments?

Learning here every day—thanks to everyone sharing
I think we should instead wait full 40 weeks before thinking of listing on bigger exchanges like Bittrex, which is obviously #1 choice for most of us.  Before that, due to 90% premine, it will not be possible to list it on Bittrex.  After 40 weeks, at any point in time, bigger exchanges like Bittrex may list DeepOnion on its own.

I think the strategy on exchanges should be "step-by-step". Bittrex is one of the biggest and most popular altcoin exchanges, this should be the end game from my point of view.

First of all, it is good news that Nova has enabled new registrations after about a month of DDOS attacks. This will enable a lot of people to jump on the bandwagon.

Next should be another exchange higher up this list
https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/info
C-CEX, Cryptopia, Livecoin, Binance, Liqui – just to name a few that are smaller than bittrex.

Because remember – yesterday is nothing, tomorrow is everything.

Hmm yes, its about 5.2 btc to spend on small exchange. Maybe it's not worth the effort, and that amount of money.

How do you know the reason for missing payout from an airdrop?
Yeah. You're the definition of a 1 day poster. ALL your weekly posts were on 9/21/17
Gosh, there was yet another rule change.
i didnt know that the rule said, you had to post it on multiple days. When was it announced? I usually login and catch up on bitcointalk max couple of times weekly.
I am not a fulltime bitcointalk user to login and post here daily

There is no such rule that you can't post in one day. However, if you do this every week, what does it mean? It means that the account is likely someone's side account, that you post something just to fulfill the requirements for something, like airdrop. It is normal that dev team will ban these accounts because the big number of frauds trying to get free money.

There's always been a rule against that, it's called burst posting. And it's such a big topic here that it pretty much shows that the person doesn't even follow DeepOnion.

We should think a better exchange, I think bittrex is one of the best. They usually accept coins with unique features. Once the DeepVault is released we should target to get to bittrex. Anyone knows what is the process to get there?

Here are the exact rules to get listed on Bittrex straight from the website:

To help speed up the process of deploying your coin, we require the following information submitted through our support desk here: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=114093958872

Coin Name
Enhanced Verified Account of team member on Bittrex - This team member must be either a core developer or a major shareholder (10% or more) of a company that backs the development of the coin.  That member will need to submit identifying documents to get their account enhanced verified.

Description of your coin -  Why does it exist and what makes it unique?  What new technology or business concept are you bringing to the blockchain? If your ANN thread only has coin specs on it, you are not going to get listed on Bittrex.

Coin trading symbol - The ticker needs to be 3-5 letters and cannot contain any symbols or numbers.  Please verify that your preferred symbol is not already in use on our exchange or any other.  There are a number of services that track coin prices that require the symbols to be unique. Even if the symbol is not on our exchange anymore, we won't reuse it.  Consider your symbol carefully because we will not change it once it is set.

A logo for your coin - png format with a transparent background.  The logo should be square with dimensions of 1000x1000 pixels with no white space on its border and no taglines.  It should only be a logo and expect it to show up in multiple spots in the Bittrex UI.

Launch Date (past or future)

Github Link - We only accept source code.  We will not run a binary that you provide us.

Did you raise money/bitcoin to launch your coin?  (i.e. a CFC/ICO)

Did you have a premine?  How much is it?  Is it escrowed?

What is the max money supply for your coin?

Exchanges you are currently on

Official blockchain explorer

What is your TxFee for a transaction

Any social media information such as your official website, twitter account, facebook page, subreddit, etc.
If you are an ETH token:

Code review - Was a code review performed on your smart contract?  By whom?  Please provide a link or send us a document of the results
What is your smart contract address?
Optional information that heavily influences us:

Identity Disclosure:  If you disclose your identity publicly, we'll verify that the information you disclosed matches your Bittrex account
Get your source code reviewed by a trusted member of the community
Updates about your coin: If you have previously been listed on Bittrex, what has changed with your coin since then?
If you are interested in providing information to traders of your coin in our user interface, see Submitting Coin Information for the Bittrex UI
If you run a crowdfunding campaign on another platform or premined your coin and would like to get listed, the following additional requirements apply:

We may require a $5000 compliance fee for the additional due diligence we need to fulfill to list your coin. More details are in our article What is a Compliance Review?
A link to publicly accessible information about the CFC terms.  We need to see exactly how any funds were raised and what was promised to crowdfunders
A link to publicly accessible information about the premine.  We'd like to know how large of a premine it was and what the intended purpose of the premine is
We'd like to know the final metrics for the crowdfund.  How much was raised and how many addresses were coins distributed to?
You must also meet our CFC compliance standards; most notably having a proof of developer done and disclosing the full name and location of a member of the coin development team
If you are purchasing a spotlight, you must have a proof of developer done and disclose the full name and location of a member of the coin development team.

Bittrex has the requirement that new coins with a large premine (like we have with onions) need to be escrowed (which we dont have). And even then they are very sceptical

I think the biggest issue will be the identity requirement. I believe the bigger exchanges require full disclosure of your identity before you can list your coin. Hopefully one of the deeponion team can meet this requirement...once DO is fully implemented, hits the large exchanges, the sky is the limit on its eventual price.
