Traffic is arriving at 3-5 Gbps (compare this to your avg cable/DSL speed!!) from time to time. Server can handle this, but data traffic costs are eating up my Onions!
This is a community-pool and not a multi-million dollar company so resources are limited for mitigating such attacks. I will do however whatever I can to keep the server up to a decent level. It seems that based on the type of attacks these are some script kiddo's (it's holiday after all) and hopefully they will move to another target any time soon and I will make it more difficult for them as well!
Please make sure you have back-up pools in your miner software,with the community-pool on number 1 of course!

Fuckers! Any evidence of who is behind it? Botnets are controlled, takeout the c&c server and the problem goes away!

Yep no one would have thought that DeepOnion would end the year at the $3 level. The price has really become stable since it reached its ath then crashed to below $1.00. 2018 will be the year of DeepOnion. Once the features has been released next year, it will soar.

Agreed, the airdrop campaign will have finished and new big features will be released such as deep send and a new android wallet. We will see the real value at this time next year, and it will be double digits for sure - maybe even triple digits

You have to admit, all these new listings on exchanges, should definitely spark interest with traders, it should get them googling deep onion.
With an android wallet being released on playstore etc, it's definitely advertising in itself, I actually spend a bit of time looking through random apps on the playstore if I have free time.
A lot more people will see this in the tens of thousands, imagine if we can pick up some title like editor's choice, that can get advertised that way.

Just listed in Kucoin and it already captured 27% of total Deep Onion trading volume. That's very fast for a new exchange. You maybe right, soon Kucoin will be bigger.
KuCoin is growing fast, adding new & upcoming coins at a rapid pace, I picked up some more Onion with funds already on the exchange, also I'd highly recommend you all look at their KuCoin shares & the bonus payouts it delivers daily.
Haven't looked at KuCoin, will check it out. Any thoughts on CryptoBridge, I think their payout share is much higher than KuCoin (albeit on currently lower volume).

I've seen a lot of people with DeepOnion signatures so I got really curious and joined. I can't read all 2k pages here but I am loving Onion everytime I see a post regarding it.
well this is evidence enough, that people are seeing and noticing the deep onion signatures on bitcoin talk.over time more and more will join, also means more people will use word of mouth too.

It was my first airdrop on Fri, and I was very happy to come home from work and find a deposit of 25 onions in my wallet! It made my day, so a special thanks to the deep onion crew for the early Christmas present!
