hahaha bro, i'm just like you, doing faucets from time to time. but came up with 0.005 in a week... considering 0.0002 onions per faucet drop, it would take 5000 drops. if you religiously do this every hour, it would take more than 200 days just to get 1 onion. i ended giving up doing faucet thing. it consumes too much of our time and effort. i guess its for those who want to check/test onion transactions.

Yes I've seen that. But you can ignore things like that. You won't make profit out of it as there is not enough demand (yet) to fill sell orders. Even if it was USD 100 for 30 minutes you might only sell 1 or 2 onions... It's not the time to sell yet. You get some money out of it to pay bills. The big money will come when we hit a biggger Exchange like Bittrex or so.

It also cracked USD 3 on Saturday, but only a few minutes. I was sitting in the train when i checked my Blockfolio and almost got a heart attack. I had to reopen Blockfolio for 3 times just to believe that this is not a bug. Sadly it went back to 1 USD shortly after. But no surprise, this wouldn't haven been a healthy progress.

I think before hitting bittrex or any other top 10 exchange it would be wiser to join any other top 10-30 exchange, because the nova is in 50 place. Why joining smaller exchange than top 10 you say? First of all it will be faster to be accepted and as DeepOnion will be listed in more than one exchange it will open doors to other exchanges

That's just the most ideal calculation possible. You forgot the difficulty of each block received. If your hash is not strong enough compared to the big miners and you are a little lucky then maybe one day you earn no more than 10 onions. It's a loss! Grin

oh, you may be right. i based my computation on last week mining. now that difficulties have risen, maybe there wouldn't be much profit now.

Difficulties have risen a lot, it´s very hard to mine some onions. It´s more easy to use your BTC buyin at Novaexchange. I´m doing that.
