So with an extimated floor of 10 cents per onion the bounty for translation of the ANN would now be around 20$ for a one or two days of work (I've already worked an entire day and I've not finished yet). Even though this is an amazing project full of potential, I think the bounty program is the weak point right now.
Yeah, it´s like saying uuuh who would do a bounty for ETH it´s only 10 cents right now. (few years ago)
Well you get another 100 Onions every month.
Who knows, this coin might reach 1$ each soon. Then, all the work we've done as translators would have paid off.

seems like i missed something in here because quite busy on my job.
we have a new wallet for deeponion coin and having feature for unlock and lock wallet,
if i am using an old wallet,what will happen in the future ? because i am not really understand about backup or something like.
i am afraid i will losing all of it because of that and will get banned because of that,
can i still using an old one other than the new one?

You will not lose anything and you will not be banned, it is not a mandatory walletupdate, feel free to use the old one, but it is recommended to use the newest one for full featuresett.

how long does it take for ones coins to mature? I have received one small stake already and just thought it would continue with weight and reward time. It now says the coins have to mature first. Anybody have a time range for how long this takes to occur? Would be nice to know, thanks in advance

i installed the v1.1 wallet. i backed up my wallet.dat. deleted everything then installed the new version. imported my wallet.day back and the wallet is showing as v1.1 but i have no lock/unlock button at the top?
anyone else had this??
Try to encrypt the wallet then check the buttons. Buttons should appear there. anyone else had this??thanks. this worked.
so just to confirm as i have'nt staked a pos coin for a long time. you leave the wallet unlocked to stake? so it won't stake while in a locked state?
Yes, your wallet needs to be unlocked. However, you should check the for staking only box when unlocking, so the rest of your wallets functions stay protected

Yep, I think devs are working on exchange but you need to keep 90% of your coins from airdrop to prevent people from dumping. So I guess it's a win-win situation for us and the dev who is working so hard with this project.

We instructed her on how to get her Wallet Address.
Her first wallet was not successful due to error in encryption.
Now, she got her second wallet address, but she is hesitant to encrypt again.
We are hoping for immediate solution for her MAC wallet.
We will wait for further enhancement and development for this. Thanks.

Not sure what do you mean? does she need to set up a paraphrase to encrypt the wallet? If you just run the wallet, nothing really need set up. If you set up paraphrase, after you choose and confirm the paraphrase, the wallet will quit, then just restart it, you'll see the wallet encrypted (you see the lock on the lower right).
She started the encryption process, set up a passphrase, confirm the passpharse, then restart the Laptop.
She run again the deepOnion-qt.exe. It did not sync. She did not see the "Unlock Wallet". But she saw a newly generated Wallet Address. And that new wallet was used now to register at deeponion community forum.
Now, she did not try again to encrypt her wallet.

anyone else had this??I also had this, even though I already backed up my wallet.dat then I couldn't find the button to open this wallet file. I don't know how to open it, this may be a wallet bug.

Not sure what do you mean? does she need to set up a paraphrase to encrypt the wallet? If you just run the wallet, nothing really need set up. You are all missing the point. IF the CURRENT price of DeepOnion would already be known, everyone would have a very clear idea of what to do with their time and mining resources. We are now in the very interesting phase BEFORE price discovery, so we act only based on our speculations. IF you work for bounties now you do it either because you just like to do it or because you believe the price discovery will discover a price high enough to pay for your work. It's a bet, you can win (discovered price is higher of the value of your work), you can be even (discovered price is the same of the value of your work) or yuu can lose (discovered price is the lower of the value of your work). If - let's say - you would know TODAY that the coin is worth only 0.02$ (very pessimistic view), and you absolutely wanted to have 200 onions in your bag, what would you do?
1. Buy them for 4$ on an exchange?
2. Work all day and more to translate the ANN? (and hope that the value will grow on time)
If you still don't get it I give you a third option:
3. Work on some other better paid translation, earn 100$ with that, and spend the earned 100$ to buy 6000 onions - (and perhaps still hope that the value will grow on time)
