I thought the premine was to be distributed, as it was the result of PoW, rather than staked by them and doled out slowly? I won't buy Onion if they're staking it themselves.
For me also a nogo to stake the premine coins before distribution to the members.
we need an explanation from dev,if you(dev) is staking atm,i think you should stop it now before too late,greedy is always the reason for a good project die in the middle way,just saying.

Who else has such coins to cause the spike in stake weight?
What is the problem that dev stake on their coins? Guys, the dev team did huge work to bring the community together, you guys don't expect dev team to work for free for you? For me, as long as dev and community are together, we are working towards the same goal, this will be the great coin. Remember, dev could have well done an ICO instead of distributing coins for free, they choose to be with the community, instead of taking some sure assets like bitcoin. So be thankful, and help the community, as a whole we can make this coin a lot better.
The problem is if we're given relatively small ONION in the airdrops and the DEV is staking 19 million the whole time it won't give us much of anything for holding it as opposed to just a few days ago when even small holders would be getting regular payment. To suddenly put their massive amount of coins to stake now is a slap in the face to people who were thinking those coins were the community's instead of the developer's to play with the network weight.
