I believe you did the right thing, as there was discussion on deeponion.org about TOR coin and everybody was saying it's dead and DEV run away, better to have real thing = ONIONS Wink

Because DEVs have decided to keep the DeepVault code closed-source for now. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of that decision either as I’m a strong believer in and supporter of open-source software and given the choice I always go for open-source alternative. That said, according to the official statements, DeepVault code will be made public at some point, so let’s wait and see.

For me, it's a matter of principle. However, from practical point of view, open-source codes in general are much safer and much more trustworthy than closed-source ones, especially when it comes to anything related to cryptography.
