There's no need to ever open a wallet software to get coins. All you have to do is have the private key to a public address, which you have in that wallet. The coins don't exist on your computer or in your wallet. Your wallet simply stores the keys that access coins on the public blockchain.

We are experiencing the infancy of one of the upcoming Top 25 coins here - we've got an active, engaged community, real use cases and constant progress/development. I know one thing for sure - I'll keep on holding to these ONIONS.

16 connections are enough for the average staking wallet. If you want more connections you add this line to your deeponion.conf file:

maxconnections=32

16 connections for deeponion wallet is enought.
But if you want to have more then 16 connection you can port forward in your modem nad have much more connections.
