Dear sir please disable nice hash port difficulty two much please decrease difficulty thanks

I don't like nicehash either but if that port stays closed the network gets hugely out of balance. We had 85% of the network hashrate on private pools for a while and they were almost all using nicehash

Since other people outside of the devs control wont close their ports it only makes sense to level the playing field to protect the network

Just for curiosity, what is ideal exchange platform for new alt coin without an expensive listing fee.
I check cryptopia list fee, they ask for 5000000 DOT which is expensive.
Sumokoin is going to list on Next.Exchange. Do you guy think that exchange is good for Dero as well.

Maybe Dev team can try to apply that exchange , ETN, Sumokoin these two crypnote coin will be listed on that exchange.

Go Dero!!!

ETN has all that money, SUMO has grown a lot lately.
They can try, but even ITNS - which has been around for a while now - is at the "Under consideration" stage on Next.exchange.
So while I know stocks.exchange is buggy and sucks a lot, it might be a bit too early for DERO to join another exchange.
But I'm just another nobody here so let's hear devs word on it.  Smiley

EDIT: Livecoin.net might worth a shot.

Livecoin.net might be taking on Cryptonote coins. One Cryptonote-based project that I'm familiar with is stating that they'll be listed there in the next couple of weeks. The exchange has much better volume than S.E. for example their ETH/BTC pair has done 1,122 BTC in the last 24 hours.

stocks.exchange needs a DERO/ETH instead of just a DERO/BTC listing. I don't use BTC an going through the added step of converting to BTC to buy DERO just annoys me

LMAO Someone filled most of the buy orders?  Cheesy Down to 2100 sat on the buy side. Sell side is at 6700 sat.  Shocked

Someone dumped their holdings. It happens (idk why they did it all at once though)

The volumes are extremely low, hardly counts as dumping.  With coins with extremely low volumes like these, I am not really sure how meaningful the quoted prices are for future prices if/when volumes increase.

It looks like NH arrives to https://dero.cryptopool.space
The hashrate doubled because of 1 new user. 4Mh/s --> 8Mh/s.

2 CaptDero:

Why not to develop NH-resistant algorithm for difficulty computing ? For example, you can compute average hashrate during 1 week and one standard deviation for this period: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_deviation

If at some moment the network hashrate jumps over that standard deviation, the difficulty goes to the moon until the moment when the hashrate returns to the normal interval. Of cause, by this we reduce the coins emission, but we will be protected from the network abusing by the NH, and we will have more fair coins distribution among the miners, and more healthy network.

I specially registered here to suggest this idea.
The official pool was quietly changed to allow NH and at this point its hard to prevent now. When it was a couple of the main pools and the coin was a couple weeks old it was easier to control NH.

It's the natural progression of things

What are the odds someone wants to write a noob tutorial of how to solo mine over a network. I see all this mine from the wallet.. not sure how exactly that works. How does one run something like geth or pirl and then point all their rigs at the pc running geth / pirl but to solo mine Dero?

It's probably not worth solo mining at this point, best to pool mine. It's a constant payout and easy to setup.

That depends on how big your farm is. If you have enough hashrate to find blocks on your own there is no point in paying a pool 1%

Assume you want to point several rigs/cpu to one daemon. For that you need to join any pool or setup private pool.
For pool setup see https://github.com/deroproject
