With the MasterNode fever spreading like wild forest fire,I think we can one can surely take advantage of it. Someone asked me why MasterNode is better than staking coins, and I said well....MasterNode is a source of passive income. Not only it helps in making the network stable but also helps in organic growth of the coin. People are all looking for some passive income and if you can afford to have one, do you due diligence about the coin and go for it.

All the best Desire team!!

You know, full credit and respect for the Dev. The project didn't work initially. They took it away and came back with something that did. They didn't try to hide their previous failures. They learnt from it.

It's so difficult to find projects with committed devs who aren't just in it for a quick buck. I think dev is serious about this project - and in the long run that's what's most important for the future of a coin in today's environment.

You run it on VPS?
Had same problems - solved by forwarding 9919 port to my localhost with wallet.

How long do coins that are staked in a masternode stay there?  Are they removable at any time?  Or is there some sort of collateral that is lost by taking down an MN?

Also, what happens if a masternode loses internet connection for a while?

Appreciate any responses, thanks.

Still no answer regarding the DDoS problem from the DESIRE daemon on Linux server...

Concerning your question.

On Linux VPN, hosting google cloud platform. No DDoS and the like was observed. I see network statistics, there is nothing suspicious.

The VPS host told be that's a LOT of requests through the port used by your daemon.
