someone already forked the DMD code into another coin, with only parameter changes. This on the other hand shows that DMD is a great one Grin

If you look at the two highest hashrate pools, http://dmd.minar.cc/index.php and http://diamondcoin.miningpool.co/index, and add up their combined hashrate it is about 88 mh/s. Due to the constantly changing difficulty it can make it appear that there are sudden huge jumps in hashrate.
