There's something very strange going on with the http://dime.mine-pool.net/ pool. I connected up and got 3x 50K payouts in about the first two minutes. Then got a 145 payout a few seconds later, then nothing since then - for hours. The other people in the pool seem to be getting payouts just fine. Big ones. Just nothing to any of my addresses. VERY strange.

In the dimecoin.conf - may need to update the seeds.

I have 172 peers connected in total - and over half these seeds are still working.
Did update to the 1.2 client from dimecoin.org? Did recompile from the latest GIT?

Please help me understand: when I run minerd_sse4 with the quark parameter, I get an accepted share every 5-10 minutes. When I run it with the scrypt parameter, there are massive amounts of accepted shares every few seconds.
What is the difference? I am currently mining at npool.org.

You shouldn't be sending any valid shares via Scrypt, as it's a Quark-based coin. You should be getting a lot of "Boo!!!" instead of "Yay!!!" if you try to use Scrypt.
That's the funny part. Over 92% "Yay!!!".
