This week we have reached out to several people we found were fit & proper to review the project and its merits, and we have a few videos & interviews coming out soon. Ideally, we'd like to start really amping up marketing once the new website is live, where the core team is listed by name and picture.
Then there's also the airdrop, where we're working on some verification software to make sure that new-comers (who hold no DIS token), are not bots. For people already holding this, the amount distributed will scale linearly with your holdings.
Glad you're still interested in the project, we certainly are too, and we're pushing commits everyday!

Just wanted to give a status update on the project, Brandon, our CTO went on the Bad Crypto Podcast. And you can give it a listen here.
The IDO is going great - in fact so great that we have added 2 more developers to the project, as well as organized everything in a physical office (still a few people in the team overseas, but they plan a 3-month long visit).
The hardness assumption of Arcturus turned out to have been disproven, therefore we're going with Triptych instead, an example implementation can be seen here. The network will still be as secure as previously assumed, however the consequence of this is that the proof size will be slightly larger, unfortunate, but sometimes mathematics don't work out the way you hope them to.
Our website is also getting a fresh update start-July, with the core team outlined as well as FAQ, news, and other sections.
Hopefully, the project is still exciting to everyone, development takes time, but we're on track to meet every deadline mentioned on the current iteration of the website.

Total Supply: 90 million $DIS
Hello. But in the technical paper it is written that
"Discreet will have a total supply of 270 million $DIS."
What to believe?
90 million initial $DIS for sale in the IDO, an additional 180 million can be mined.

This is a scam, please be careful. . . I was in the telegram group and asked how to buy, and the management kicked me out of the group... They sold coins and cheated money
You were in Telegram spamming "What is the market cap of the coin" 60 times in a row, when the answer is, we do not answer market speculation questions, if you had cared to read the stickied comment, you'd know that we do not want anyone affiliated with the team speculating on market pricing. We're only here to answer technology related questions.
Also why would we kick you for "asking how to buy"? We'd appreciate any money raised for the LP.

I mean Bounty Campaign, to promote your project.
Like Twitter campaign, Facebook campaign, Signature Campaign, etc.

I am trying to get a grasp on the project and comparing it to others in the space,
Are there measures to protect investors? Tokenomics, Burn, liquidity lock plan, and audits.

So that amount is roughly 25% the total amount raised.
In regards to your other questions yes;
The contract has been published, open-source, and you can see the locked liquidity.
The tokens not sold will be burned, and not given to devs.

Sorry, webflow is having some issues right now and one of the devs is solely focusing his time on a new website (he's a UX dev for he wallet).
For some reason their DNS is messing up so write: https://www.getdiscreet.org, and you'll get there. Within the week, the website will be replaced with a far superior one, that is multi-page.

I have just purchased some DIS by visiting your site Ido.getdiscreet.org, the transaction went through but nothing is showing in my metamask wallet, I think I need to add Discreet as a custom token, since this is something that will likely be encountered by new users, can anybody please advise on the info required to add Discreet as a custom Token on Metamask?

Not many projects are using the DAG technology here. The features are great especially the almost negligible transaction fees, however, it depends on the team how are they going to market this coin to the crypto community. Usually, the bottleneck is the adoption. And if it is not available in most exchanges, the adoption may not come easy.

We get this question a lot, truth of the matter being as we're all backend devs (we've added an additional team member for WPF for the wallet), we haven't divulged much time into the website itself, mostly the whitepaper which outlines the technical advancements we've made.
However, the good news is that we now have a permanent React developer on the team who will "dox" (I personally don't like that word) the team, in the form of providing a roster. The website will be ready in 2.5-3 weeks time, so plenty of time if you want to verify the identities before considering participating in the IDO.
