@DMDcreeper
Finally found another block on ETH pool, I'm gonna stick with it, stratum+tcp coming soon, and pretty graphs and stats LOL ...
http://donkeypool.com Payouts are working
I just pointed some hash rate at donkeypool. ETH is profitable right now so I will give it some time. What I'd like to see is an API for stats so I can keep track of my miners remotely. With sgminer, I can do this directly through the miner but the ETH miners do not have an API.
You should see if you can get Ethermine.org's QT-Miner to work on your pool. It has stratum built in so a proxy is not needed. QT-Miner seems to be slightly faster as well. If not, running the proxy is not a big deal.
Thanks for keeping me in the loop. I'll mine on donkeypool for a while, at least while the ETH price is above $7.
Thanks for the help, I'd like to see pool finding more blocks daily
rather than several days apart. Your 200+ Mhz will help a lot
If you believe the calculators we should find a block every 18 hours at the current hashrate. However, the difficulty is increasing rapidly and the block time is increasing too. So is the network hashrate.
To connect this to DMD, if the ETH prices continues to decline in a few days it will be more profitable to mine DMD again (when the diff is low). Of course if ETH profitability drops I would expect the network hashrate to drop too, but this has not happened so far.
Thanks guys!
DonkeyPool is back - we'll also be adding a DMD/merged Groestl when the new wallet is out
Stratum support is next on the list, should be next week (Wed I suppose).
The pool already supports vardiff, even using getwork - so the main advantage to using stratum is reduced blockchange times and bandwidth.
We really don't care much about bandwidth - even 100GH is we'll within our monthly allowance and shouldn't over-tax the server.
Stats and JSON api are in the works, should see something on that next week as well.
We'll likely push the "Free to mine" beta period out until the end of June as well.
