question:
if i leave the same wallet with X DMD inside running on 3 different clients (IP different) will i get the power multiplied three times ?
(i suppose not, but i am not sure)

When you says clients, do you mean 3 different PCs running the same wallet.dat
if so , Very Bad Idea , your wallets would start drifting apart with each use
http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/4904/can-wallets-be-shared-by-different-machines

 Cool

this will happen on prof-of-stake wallets, thats right
on prof-on-work wallets (if i leave them untouched) this does not matter.
thank you!

Actually the article quoted is BTC, Prof of work.
It is worse for PoS because staking creates more transactions and more keys.
Diamond is a hybrid, hits you both ways.

Your Diamonds your call, be aware if there is ever 100 total different transactions difference between the wallets ,
it is a possibility to lose your diamonds beyond recovery.
That is why most say it is a bad idea.

 Cool

u can set a changeaddress=yourmanaddress
in conf and u wont have issued with different change addresses in different wallets using same address

yes there is a tiny chance to mint for example with both wallets the same coin piles
but only one of that blocks will be accepted from network
and ur wallets reorg to the network truth

after all a blockchain is nothing else than a shared database with a bit cryptografic technologie involved  Wink

its impossible spend the same coin age twice

the rewards wont change because once a POS block successful claimed
the coin age is used up in each wallet that use that address

the chance to find a block faster might improve a bit

try and share ur experience  Cool

What's the best way join into DMD Diamond and DMD Cloudmining?

I suggest split it as follows:

 a) 50% on buying Diamonds directly
 b) 50% in Diamond Cloud Mining.

This way I could achieve both maximizing the profit and stabilizing the coin.
Diamond Cloud Mining can earn Diamonds every day, those Diamonds stake with 50% PoS interest.
Some would call that Double PoS or simply PoS² (Proof of Shares and Proof of Stake).

Step by Step guide buy shares:
here come the new nicehash miner tool now also with AMD GPU support

Ok. Thank you again for you answers. Smiley
there is only one possible case where ur wallet need start help

and that would be if only dust inside

only transactions below 1 dmd size

then i would try to place a seed in this address a transaction with at least 10 DMD size

from that point on the selfadjusting of wallet works again

and over time (a few months)

the dust will be group staked too and merged into bigger pile

this is how coin control looks for a address that run 24/7 since months
in staking mode without any user micromanagement

as u see most coin pile size between 1 and 120 dmd
with a average size of around 15 DMD

One small semitech question about the wallet :

If i open the console and the wallet is in minting mode, and i type the command gettmininginfo, i see a series of lines, one make me curious, is "stakepower" nnn,

what does the number after this param means ?

Thanks in advance for an eventually answer.... Smiley

stakepower is your own stake weight

basically if u have there a number u know u have coin pile old enough to try compete for finding a POS block

DMD POS explained in detail:

https://bit.diamonds/community/index.php/topic,127.0.html

Thank you Cryptonit, the article you linked, i've read a months ago.... another question, i'm a newbie about staking technology....

How this number can be interpreted to tray to know when there will be a great opportunity to receive a reward, i tray to explain better...

I think that the numver you see (weight) is to be correlated to the total weight, right ? so to understand how is the % of my weight against the total weight, where i can find the second info ? (total weight)

For example now my stakepower is 3007, but to have some meaning i need a point of comparison....

Hope to be clear about my question....

Cheers

the easy answer is it doesnt matter Smiley

because at DMD POS the rewards are not linked to network difficulty or anything other strange

its plain and easy coin x age x actual network pos-reward stage (for the next few years 25%)

so if u dont have many coins just open ur wallet twice a month for two days in minting mode

thats all u have to do

anything else the wallet do itself for u

what is a Legendary10

please read here:
