everyone who still have DMD at cryptsy withdraw them NOW!

if ya a trader use bittrex or cryptopia to fill their very dry sellorderbooks

if ya a investor u did something wrong by leave a high POS coin at a exchange

move them into a wallet and enjoy 25% POS income

In The As The CRYPTSY Crumbles News ,

They may be doing the following ,
Restrict withdrawals on short balanced coins, allowing withdrawals on a first come, first serve basis upon availability.
So would not wait to withdraw.

a pool forked away network did stay unharmed

hybrid POW/POS did show again his power

while in pure POW networks full power lies in mining pools

a hybrid POW/POS network much more resistant against bad behaving pools even if major hashrate inside

the problem why a pool can fork away is because at some degree of hashrate the pool starts to belive himself more than the network

and then he create his own fork

(i did post in last few week multiple times about spread hashrate
and what can happen and that it will harm the miner on pool
wasting a day of electricity
and exact that happend......

if u tell someone dont jump off the bridge it will hurt you
- and he jump -

who is responsible?
the guy who say dont jump?
the bridge?
or the guy who jumped?

should we forbid build bridges in the future?
)

until yet i know only of 3 wallets who forked

out of like 200 regulary open wallets each day (and lot more if u add the rare opened wallets twice a month)?

and all 3 returned to mainnet

if at all its a sign of strengh

the other topic about timedrift is more interesting and will be addressed next month

in fact we had this on last wallet todo list

by some misstake it wasnt in final code

but it will be now

and as i said regarding mining there will be interesting changes where i anounce more once it run successfull through all internal tests

Nothing short of impresive.

Are you saying there are additional anti-forking measures in the pending wallet update?

it should have major impact on the mining pool landscape
and this way make it very unlikely one pool will be 50% of total hashrate again

Smell the glove.

thats exact what we do
just wait for changelog of new wallet
and u see our bridge become future save
in a lot ways

and regarding bridge railing we have them
hybrid POW/POS made sure network stay unaffected
pure POW coins would run in major network problems if that happens to them
what for us just made a few guys lose a few hours electricity and network stay unaffected

and pool side saveguard exist also like the FORK DEDECTION SYSTEM from miningfield
which dedect and start counter measures (closing mining ports saving user electrical power)

Without a doubt, the forking issue is much better than last year.

Here's one step further in your "bridge" to reason:

If you build a bridge with no railings, does it increase the number of jumpers?
Do the bridge builders hold some of the blame?
Well, this is not a bridge, and the principal really isn't the same.

It isn't trivial to code safeguards against this type of thing, but, it can be done.
Can we please make it a priority before it becomes a real issue?

I would be glad to help, you just need to ask.

i informed all pool operators using the know contact possibilities i have
but it might speed up them fix it if u as user on their pools also remind them
that a pool cant find a block if he use the old since total coin 1500000 outdated foundation share address

dear pool operators

it seems not one not two but all of u forgot that with total coins 1500000 a new foundation share address have to be used

thats the reason why now only solo miner find POW blocks because all pools use the wrong foundation share address

please check this
https://github.com/DMDcoin/Diamond/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L4784
and adapt foundation share address to
