What's the best way to invest into DMD?
In my opinion you should split your investment into the following:
By buying 50% DMD direct and 50% into DMD Cloudmining
This way you can maximize your profit and stabilize the coin.
DMD Cloudmining earn daily DMD and the DMD in ur wallet run in 50% POS mode.
Some would call that Double POS (Proof of Shares and Proof of Stake)

I’m also a satisfied investor in the DMD Cloudmining and I understand your point Chilo, but if I find too many "testimonies" about something I usually become a bit suspicious. For example, if I’m going to do some shopping on the internet and find a site with a lot of testimonies I always think; Whats wrong here? Why do they need all these testimonies about how good/cheap everything is? What I mean is that normally a site/service that does not deliver will get a lot of negative feedback, and if no such feedback exists one can assume the services are Ok.

Personally I think the best promomaterial for a service like DMD Cloudmining is to present facts and let them speak for themselves. A new investor wants to see charts and tables for the whole Cloudmining with total invested dollars, total earned dollars, total earned DMD, and so on, both overall and for every month, maybe even weekly. The project has some history now and a table with actual outcome for 100$/500$/1000$ invested 1st of october would be very telling. Later on even outcomes for investments done on the 1st of every month and, if possible, estimated outcomes for coming months would be nice too. In my opinion investors want to see numbers/statistics and check/compare them before they make an investment decision.

When it comes to the DMD Cloudmining I’m happy with the service and the results so far. It’s working perfectly and according to the agreed contract, so I have nothing to complain about. If someone is having thoughts or questions regarding my investment in DMD Cloudmining they are welcome to ask me about my experience, either here in the thread or via PM.

You can create a file diamond.conf with the contents:

and put it next to the file wallet.dat  After that, restart your wallet.
This should help you.

Not sure if this is the place to ask but I could use some help in getting started with Diamond. I downloaded the wallet and fire it up and it sits at 0 active connections to the Diamond network so never synchronizes. I look at the log and see the following :

IRC connect failed
IRC waiting 71 seconds to reconnect
connection timeout
IRC connect failed
IRC waiting 138 seconds to reconnect
Flushed 0 addresses to peers.dat  50ms
Flushed 0 addresses to peers.dat  26ms
connection timeout

This is repeated multiple times. I am taking a guess here but assuming that the IRC server is where it is supposed to be pulling the nodes to connect to the network from but since I can't get to the IRC server for some reason I am stuck. Does anyone have a list of nodes to add to the config file to get it up and running?

how is it at diamond cloudmining:

lot contracts (different companies = risc minimation) with payout daily weekly and manual triggered with different payout generating cryptocurrencies business (mostly cloudmining)

at day one u join u already get ur first payout no need to wait someone else finished his ROI before u start earning

december we had a very low new investors investment rate until yet still payout didnt decrease for active dmd cloudmining shareholders

its that we dont earn money by operating it
(the 3% from bonus shares is minimal until yet couldnt even pay a week worktime and we spend a few man months into this already)
we do it to support DMD
and because we are our self (as persons) the biggest DMD Cloudmining shareholder (bought at same conditions like everyone else)

so if at all the critique that fit is from people consulting us regarding creation of company

they say if a company is not build around earn income for the people who operate it its not a company........

seems we have to learn to be more greedy and dont split all we earn fair between all investors?

the plan is that our company not earn money by the fees people pay who use dmd cloudmining
but by the earnings of our company invest into dmd cloudmining

so expect another big increase in invest in dmd cloudmining
once we create the company we will also invest a lot more into dmd cloudmining
(not as persons but as company) as base income for company
